By a practitioner in Hebei Province, China
Many practitioners in our area filed criminal complaints against Jiang Zemin, former Chinese dictator, for persecuting Falun Dafa. The letters were sent between May and July 2015 to the Chinese Supreme People’s Procuratorate.
Some practitioners were harassed in early August by township government officials and police for filing lawsuits. One practitioner’s home was ransacked. The police took all her Falun Dafa books, and made her sign their record book. They also demanded 5,000 yuan, a “cash deposit” from her. Although this “deposit” money is supposed to be returned, it usually never is.
This practitioner later realized that she made a mistake. She planned to talk to the police about Falun Dafa, expose Jiang Zemin’s crimes against humanity, and get her money back.
Since the village officials led the police to her home, she decided to go to the village committee first, and see if the officials would take care of her case. If they did not, she planned to visit the township government.
The practitioner talked to the village committee officials several times about Falun Dafa and the persecution. The officials said they would ask the township government about the “fine.” A few days later, the village officials told the practitioner's husband that the township government promised to refund her money.
On January 19, 2016, the village officials accompanied the practitioner’s husband to the township government and got back the 5,000 yuan.
By a practitioner in China
I have been calling people in China to inform them about Falun Dafa and the persecution. I once phoned the number of a police station's political instructor.
I dialed the number several times, but no one answered. I sent forth righteous thoughts as I continued to dial the number, hoping someone would answer.
Someone finally picked up the phone but did not say a word. I started to talk about Falun Dafa, and the person hung up 30 seconds later. I called the number again, and this time, the person hung up 21 seconds later. I dialed the number one more time, and the person said, “I understand very well what you are talking about.”
I said, “I hope you understand that the persecution is wrong, and not become Jiang Zemin’s scapegoat. Please protect practitioners and do not harm them.”
He said he would do as I asked. When I asked if he wanted to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), he agreed. I also gave him anti-censorship website information so that he could help his family quit the CCP online, and he thanked me for it.
