(Minghui.org) Ms. Liu Wanqiu and her daughter Ms. Liu Lei from Lanzhou City, Gansu Province, were arrested again towards the end of 2015. They are being held in the Lanzhou First Detention Center.
For the past 16 years, Ms. Liu Wanqiu has been arrested, detained, and tortured by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for exposing the persecution of Falun Gong.
She has been held in the Gongjiawan Brainwashing Center five times, the Liugouhe Women's Forced Labor Camp for over a year, and detained for one year before being sentenced to the Shaanxi Province Women's Prison for more than three years.
During her detention, she was tortured in many different ways, such as being hung up with her arms handcuffed behind her back, forced to stand for a long time, deprived of sleep, denied restroom use, force-fed urine and unknown drugs, tied up, and forced to attend brainwashing sessions and watch videos that slandered Falun Gong.
