(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners in Sydney collected signatures on George St. and Hay St. on April 2, 2016, calling for Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull to urge the Chinese government to stop the persecution of Falun Gong when he visits China on April 14 and 15.

Ms. Sue Wildman, an Australian writer, director and artist, listened to Falun Gong practitioner Sophie explain the persecution in China for more than twenty minutes. Ms. Wildman was in tears after learning of the brutality of the persecution.
Ms. Sue Wildman said she hopes the Australian Prime Minister will visit China with true Christian compassion.
She compared the current-day persecution with the genocide committed by the Nazis, adding that many people in Germany and Poland pretended not to know about the atrocities out of fear.
Ms. Wildman expressed her wish for the SBS Dateline TV station to broadcast Human Harvest, a documentary about the harvesting of organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. She wanted to spread the information to her activist friends and hopes the information would be spread widely, so that more people would pay attention to and help stop the persecution.
After signing a postcard, Ms. Wildman said she hopes Prime Minister Turnbull would raise this important issue while in China, guided by compassionate values of Christianity, while maintaining trust and respect between the two countries.
Ms. Mellisa Doutles walked straight to sign a postcard and said she would help any time she saw Falun Gong practitioners, because practitioners in China are being arrested for their faith and their organs harvested.

Ms. Doutles added that the Prime Minister's conversation with China about the persecution would open the door and send a message to the world that Australians know about the persecution.
Ms. Kristy M. approached the Falun Gong booth and talked to practitioner Rachael about her experience with Falun Gong practitioners' activities in Hong Kong, where she first heard about the persecution. She said that her intuition told her to come and sign a postcard today. She said she would tell her friends at an upcoming meeting in China that people all over the world are calling for the end of the persecution.
