(Minghui.org) After spending one year in detention, Falun Gong practitioner Mu Yufang was tried in March 2016 and sentenced to three years in prison.
Ms. Mu was arrested on March 10, 2015 while posting information about the persecution of Falun Gong in Jiangan County, Yibin City on March 10, 2015, after two bystanders followed her and reported her to police.
Jiangan police ransacked Ms. Mu's home the next day, at around midnight. They took away many Falun Gong books and materials, as well as other personal items. In the afternoon of March 14, police ransacked her other residence.
Her arrest was approved on April 16, 2015. She was held in Yibin City Detention Center until her trial.
