(Minghui.org) Last winter, I was in a neighboring village distributing Falun Dafa informational materials with three fellow practitioners. We divided into two groups so we could cover a larger area quickly. As we passed one home the outside light came on and a small group of people exited the house. We waited out of sight until the light went off before we resumed our distribution.
We had not gone very far when the light in that house came back on. A half a dozen people came out and ran towards us. They seemed angry and we did not know what to think. Then, one person in the group yelled that we should stop and asked who we were. We were quite certain that they thought we were thieves.
We tried to explain who we were and what we were doing, but they ignored us. One of them called a village security officer, who arrived quickly. He got out of his car and asked what was going on. I told the officer that these people had mistaken us for thieves. The security officer told the group that he knew us and that we were not thieves. He told us we could leave.
A few days later, I came cross the security officer and thanked him again. We chatted a bit and I helped him withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
Complete Recovery
Shortly after, the officer was playing mahjong and had a quarrel with one of the other players, who lost his temper and stabbed the officer in the chest with a knife. He was rushed to the hospital. After an electrocardiogram the doctor felt there was no hope. The officer was struggling for breath. Then, suddenly, the officer could breathe normally. There was no explanation for his sudden and complete recovery.
When I ran into him again, he told me what had happened. I knew why he recovered, so I told him, “That night we went to your village to distribute Falun Dafa information, you helped us out. You treated Dafa disciples well, and Dafa protected you when your life was in danger. You were blessed by Dafa.” He understood and said, “It’s true, I believe you. People should distinguish right from wrong and do more good deeds. Treating Dafa disciples well is rewarded with blessings!”
