(Minghui.org) Mrs. Cai Guifeng, in her 80s, stood in front of the Xunyang District Police Station wearing a shirt on which she had written details of the persecution against her children. She cried out for justice on the evening of May 16, 2016. Instead of being treated fairly, this innocent woman was detained and threatened.

Mrs. Cai's son and daughter-in-law have been imprisoned for talking to people about Falun Gong and the persecution. The authorities have not allowed family visitations since their illegal arrests.
Mrs. Cai's daughter-in-law Tan Meili was illegally sentenced to 4 years in prison for distributing Falun Gong flyers.
Mrs. Cai's son Gao Jiaqu and two other Falun Gong practitioners, Huang Yindi and Zhong Guifeng, wrote a letter to the police on February 29, to clarify the facts regarding the persecution and expressed their hope that the police would stop assisting the persecution. For peacefully exercising their right to seek justice, they were arrested by the police. Police officer Li Jun decided to keep them in detention and later, arrest warrants were issued.
Mrs. Cai contacted Li Jun many times, asking for justice for her children. Li ignored her. With no other recourse, Mrs. Cai put on a shirt on which she had written the details of the persecution against her children, and cried out for justice in front of the police station.
Li Jun and eight other policemen forcefully pulled Mrs. Cai, her daughter and 8 Falun Gong practitioners who were with her, into the police station. They were searched and interrogated individually. Li Jun threatened Mrs. Cai, “If I see you do this again, I will certainly throw you into prison even though you are in your 80s.”
Mrs. Cai and the others were released separately around 1 p.m. the next day.
