Falun Gong practitioners in Taiwan held a series of activities in front of the National Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall last weekend to celebrate the upcoming World Falun Dafa Day, recognized annually around the world on and around May 13. Hundreds of practitioners gathered for the peaceful exercises, followed by spirited music and dance performances.

“Based on statements from Chinese health officials, the long-standing practice of harvesting organs from prisoners was to end on January 1, 2015. However, many human rights advocates believe the practice continues. Imprisoned Falun Gong practitioners are particularly targeted for organ harvesting.”
