(Minghui.org) Ms. Bi Guiying was arrested on the afternoon of June 14, 2016, while she was distributing materials in her hometown, Dandong City, with information about Falun Gong and the persecution.
When her family went to see her the next day in the Dandong City Women's Detention Center, they learned that she had high blood pressure.

Home Ransacked
The police broke into Ms. Bi’s home an hour after they arrested her. Her husband was home at the time. They ransacked the home and confiscated Falun Gong books, an MP3 player, and Falun Gong materials. They took her husband to the Xingdong Police Station, questioned him about his family, then released him.
Family Not Allowed to Visit
Ms. Bi, who is almost 70, had been very healthy since she began to practice Falun Gong in 1997. But she had high blood pressure the day after her arrest.
Her family went to the detention center to request her release on June 15. However, no one from the detention center came out to talk to them, and they weren’t allowed to go in to visit her.
Then they went to the police station to try to get her released, but were rudely turned away.
