(Minghui.org) Once after I had distributed literature about Falun Gong in some residential buildings, I saw a man walking by, so I made a point to greet him.
“You seem to be a kind person,” I said. “I have something important I would like to tell you. Have you heard that you can have a safe future if you quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and all its affiliated organizations?”
He replied, “Oh, are you a Falun Gong practitioner?”
“That's right. And those of us who practice Falun Gong are nice people,” I said. “Falun Gong is the Buddha Fa. In fact, everything that had been broadcast on TV about Falun Gong are all lies.
“I want you to have a positive understanding of Falun Gong, so asking you to quit the Party is not political—but instead helping you rescind the vows you made when you joined the Party. This way you can avoid becoming a victim of its evil.”
He smiled. “I am not a CCP member,” he said, “but I did join the Youth League when I was young.”
When I asked him if he wanted to quit, he didn't answer but waved to another man in the distance. “Come over here!” he yelled. He then turned to me and said, “Talk to him.”
When he came over, I repeated what I had just said.
To my surprise, this gentleman then put his palms together in front of his chest and bowed toward me (a gesture called “heshi” in Chinese). “This is a great thing,” he said. “For generations, my family has believed in Buddha. I have also believed in Buddha for over 20 years. I joined the CCP when I was young, but I quit.”
He turned to the other man and said, “This is a good thing. You shouldn't doubt it.”
This confirmed for me that people who have a predestined relationship with Dafa are waiting to be saved.
I took out two brochures and told both men that they should read them at home. The second man made the heshi gesture toward me again and took a brochure titled “Heaven's Blessing.” The first man took a brochure titled “Clearness.”
“I need to know the truth,” he said.
When I said goodbye to them, the second man did heshi toward me once more.
I did heshi back and told him, “Don't thank me. It is our Master who tells us to save people.”
I then turned around and did heshi to the first man, who solemnly returned the gesture.
