(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners from Edmonton, Calgary and Vancouver participated in the K-Days parade in Edmonton, Canada on July 22, 2016. They won the Best Non-Profit Entry.

K-Days is the biggest summer festival in Edmonton and attracts 700,000 to 800,000 spectators. The morning parade lasted two hours and featured over 100 groups.
The Falun Gong procession was composed of the Divine Land Marching Band, float, “celestial maidens” team and waist drum team.
The Divine Land Marching Band, consisting of Falun Gong practitioners from Vancouver, Toronto, and Seattle, performed in Edmonton for the first time.

Member of Parliament (MP) Jason Kenney of Calgary paid a special visit to the Falun Gong procession and took a group photo. He shouted, “Falun Dafa is good!”

Local government officials also participated in the parade, and were happy to meet with Falun Gong practitioners. They commended the practitioners for their outstanding performance in the Calgary Stampede. MP Kelly McCauley invited practitioners to perform on his float. Brian Jean, the Leader of Her Majesty's Loyal Opposition in the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, tried out some of the Falun Gong exercises.
