(Minghui.org) I went with another practitioner to the countryside to raise awareness about Falun Gong and the persecution to people. As soon as we got off the bus, we ran into my old classmate who I had not seen for 40 years.

She was with her six-year-old grandson. She said: “I have heard about you. I went looking for you several times, as I wanted to convince you to stop talking about Falun Gong.”

I asked the other practitioner to send forth righteous thoughts. I then told my classmate about how the former head of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), Jiang Zemin, had initiated the persecution of Falun Gong. He used his power to subvert the law and manipulated the state's Procuratorate and political and judicial departments to maintain the persecution.

She had been fully indoctrinated by Communist Party culture. When I asked her if she was a party member, she said yes. So, I told her about why she should quit the Party and its affiliated organizations.

She did not accept what I said. I tried to give her a USB drive with truth clarification materials on it, but she did not want it. In the end, she did take a pamphlet from me that explained the persecution. Her grandson became impatient and wanted to leave. I felt regretful that I could not help her quit the Party at that time.

We walked along country roads. Whenever we ran into someone, we greeted them and told them about Falun Gong.

Whenever we came to a place where the door was open but no one was there, we left a CD or a brochure that had facts about the practice and the persecution. If there was someone home, we would ask if we could come inside and talk to them about Falun Gong, about quitting the Party and asked if they wanted to support the effort to bring Jiang Zemin to justice.

The other practitioner brought truth-clarification stickers with her. Whenever we had a chance, she put them up while I sent forth righteous thoughts.

Along the way, we ran into two elderly ladies in their 90s. We greeted them and said to them “Falun Dafa is good! Truth-Compassion-Forbearance is good!”

After a while, we came across two people working in a field. I said hello, and we had a nice chat. I then asked, “Did you wear the red scarf in primary school?” (The red scarf is worn by children in Communist youth organizations.) One lady said that she had.

I said, “The CCP is very corrupt. It fights against heaven and earth. We lead a difficult life under its reign. Especially because of its persecution of Falun Gong, the heavens will not tolerate it and I believe it will be eliminated.”

I continued, “I know the CCP doesn't believe in the existence of heaven. However, when you joined the Young Pioneers, it required you to swear an oath that you would forever follow the CCP. Because of that, when the time comes for heaven to eliminate it, won't it bring trouble for you?”

She was very shocked, and I said, “It's easy to change that. Heaven is benevolent. As long as you sincerely want to wipe out this pledge, you'll be safe.”

She was very happy and quit the Party using her real name. I gave her a DVD of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and one of the May 13th New York parade for World Falun Dafa day, with the hope that she would share them with her family. She gladly took them.

When it was getting dark, we went to the bus stop and were about to head back home. There we saw several three-wheeled taxis.

I asked the elderly cab driver in the first cab if he had quit the Party. He said that he was a Muslim and had never joined the Party.

I told him that Falun Gong was the great law of the universe. I also asked him to remember that Falun Gong is good, and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good, and by doing so, it would help him avoid any calamity. I also gave him a pamphlet.

We then talked to the second driver. He told us that he had worn the red scarf before. After hearing only a few sentences, he agreed to quit the Young Pioneers.

The first driver came over and began to shout: “This is the true law! The righteous law!” Hearing that, other drivers rushed over and asked for our materials. After I talked to them about why one needs to withdraw their membership in the Party and its affiliated organizations, they all agreed to quit the Party and each of them supported bringing Jiang to justice. We asked them to pass on the message to their family and friends. For those who had laptops, we helped them copy some informational files from a USB.

The elderly driver came over to me again. This time, he pointed at the sound system in his cab and said:“The truth about Falun Gong is being broadcast.” When other people heard it, those who had not taken a USB drive before came to us to get one.

At that time, a woman came with her children. They got on one of the three-wheeled taxis. When I asked the girl whether she had worn the red scarf, she said “yes.” I told her the reason for withdrawing one's membership in the Party. Even though her mother tried to change the topic, the girl continued to listen.

The driver turned on the player so the Falun Gong information was playing and said: “Don't worry. I'll let them listen on their way!”
