(Minghui.org) In Linz, the capital of Upper Austria, Falun Gong practitioners held an event to raise awareness of the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution of Falun Gong, and the state-sanctioned organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners, on August 5, 2016. People signed the petition to call for an end to the atrocities.

Falun Gong practitioners set up a booth on Landstrasse, a busy street in the business district, to distribute information materials and collect signatures. Many passersby paused to sign the petitions despite the rain. Some expressed their interest in the practice and wished to learn it.
Anita feels that her signature can help stop the persecution.
Anita saw the practitioners' booth after walking out of her office building during her lunch break. She came forward to sign the petition. She said she knew about the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong. She said she felt that the persecution was brutal and must be stopped. She thought her signature would help to stop the persecution, so she came forward to sign the petition.

Julia and her friend Econila walked to the booth and signed the petition. Julia said, “My friend and I know about the persecution. Today we came to sign the petition while passing by. This brutal persecution must stop.”
