(Minghui.org) I was handing out Falun Dafa informational materials and talking to people about Dafa at a market, when someone reported me to the police.
Several officers soon arrived in a police car. They got out of the car and surrounded me. Another practitioner saw what was happening, and asked what they were doing to me, an elderly woman.
An officer showed her a flier about Dafa and said that I was handing them out at the market. The practitioner commented that I was doing a good thing. The officers didn't say anything and made both of us get into the police car.
I shouted, “Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!” in the car, as the other practitioner began to talk to the officers about Dafa and the persecution.
We arrived at the police station and talked to more officers there. I said, “Dafa practitioners treat others according to the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.” I continued to tell them that Jiang Zemin, the former head of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), launched the persecution and staged the 'self-immolation incident' on Tiananmen Square to slander us. The officers smiled and nodded in agreement.
The other practitioner told them that Falun Dafa is practiced around the world and is well received; how the CCP has carried out numerous campaigns and is responsible for the deaths of millions of people since taking over China; and that it persecutes practitioners and harvests their organs for profit.
She added, “What comes around goes around. The CCP will one day collapse. I urge you all to renounce your membership in the CCP and any of its affiliated organizations.”
A young officer agreed to quit the Party, and another one commented, “We know that Falun Dafa is a good practice. Please help us withdraw from the Party using our real names.”
I told them that we had poor handwriting, so one of the officers wrote their names down for us.
Just then, a senior officer walked in. An officer introduced him as the chief of police and a member of the CCP. “You should encourage him to quit too,” he added.
The chief smiled, and said, “We already know that Falun Dafa is good. I'll quit the CCP.”
An officer asked us for some Falun Dafa fliers, and said, “Don't just give those fliers to the public. You should give us some too.”
We gave them all the fliers we had.
At around noon, an officer thanked us and told us to go home.
It dawned on us after we left the police station, that these officers took us to their station so that we could help them quit the CCP!
