1. [Wucheng City, Shandong Province] Ms. Ren Junai Detained

Ms. Ren Junai of Luquantun Town was arrested by Luquantun Police Station officers when she was talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong in a public market on January 8, 2017. She is being held in the Wucheng Detention Center.

2. [Huanggang City, Hubei Province] Ms. Duan Guofang Arrested

Ms. Duan Duofang was arrested on the morning of January 11, 2017. Her whereabouts are unknown.

3. [Qingyang City, Gansu Province] Two Practitioners Sentenced

Ms. Wang Yuxia was sentenced to five years in the Qingcheng Court. Mr. Yang Weicheng was sentenced to one and a half years.

4. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zheng Li Arrested

Ms. Zheng Li of Tutai Village, Changtan Township in the Liaozhong District, was arrested on the evening of January 4, 2017, by director Li Wei and officers from the Liaozhong District Domestic Security Division.

5. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Mother and Daughter Arrested

Ms. Zhao Shuzhen and her daughter Ms. Wei Wenying were arrested at home on the afternoon of January 8, 2017, by officers from the Quanchenglu Police Station. The officers seized pictures of Falun Gong's founder, books, computers, printers, printer paper, and more than 70,000 yuan in cash.

The practitioners are being held in the Morin Dawa Banner Detention Center.

Ms. Liu Qingzhu, Ms. Zang Jiamei, and Ms. Wei were arrested on the morning of December 30, 2016, by officers from the Dongchang District Domestic Security Division and the Tuanjie Police Station. They are being held in the Tonghua City Detention Center.

9. [Shaoguan City, Guangdong Province] Two Practitioners Detained

Mr. Chen Jianjun and Ms. Liu Jiaoying were arrested in the Shaoguan East Railroad Station on the evening of January 10, 2017. They are being held at the Huanggang Detention Center. The police seized Falun Gong books from their home.

10. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Haiyan Arrested

Ms. Zhang Haiyan was arrested at home on the morning of January 12, 2017, by officers from the Quanchenglu Police Station located in the Lixia District. The police ransacked her home and confiscated Falun Gong materials.

Mr. Xin Shuren was arrested on November 11, 2016, by officers from the Yinzhou District.

Ms. Zhao Hua was arrested on September 19, 2016, by officers from the Dongbo Police Station for distributing Falun Gong materials. She was sentenced to three and a half years in the Qingyang District Court. She has been incarcerated in Longquanyi Women's Prison since November 6, 2016.

Ms. Tong Weixia from Yongkang City was arrested in August 2016 when she was distributing Falun Gong materials. She was sentenced to three and a half years.
