(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 14 cities or counties in 10 provinces. According to this report, 13 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 11 were illegally arrested.

Ms. Qi Ming was arrested on April 16, 2017, for distributing Falun Gong materials at the Da’anbei Train Station. She was recently sentenced to a four-and-a-half-year prison term but is still being held in the Zhenlai County Detention Center.

2. [Baicheng City, Jilin Province] Four Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Wang Xuemei, Ms. Geng Jiqiu, Mr. Chen Ke, and Ms. Ma Fengyi from Da'an City were arrested on the morning of September 13, 2017.

Mr. Chen and Ms. Ma have been released. Ms. Geng was released on bail, while Ms. Wang is still being held in the Zhenlai County Detention Center.

3. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Liu Xinhua Detained

Mr. Liu Xinhua was arrested at home by officers from the Qingmingjie Police Station on the evening of October 2, 2017. He is being detained in the Weizigou Police Station for 15 days.

4. [Emeishan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Du Wenqin Detained

Ms. Du Wenqin and another practitioner were arrested by officers from the Fuxi Police Station on the afternoon of October 1, 2017, for talking to people about Falun Gong. Her home was ransacked, and a printer and other personal items were confiscated.

Ms. Du was taken the Leshan Detention Center, while the other practitioner was released.

5. [Linyi City, Shandong Province] Mr. Tian Shiguo and Ms. Yang Baoli Arrested

Mr. Tian Shiguo and Ms. Yang Baoli from Yishui County were arrested by Guozhuang Town Police Station officers in Guozhuang Town, Ju County, on the afternoon of October 1, 2017, for distributing informational materials about the persecution.

6. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yang Wei Arrested

Ms. Yang Wei, 50, was arrested by officers from the Lixia District Police Department on September 29, 2017. Her home was ransacked.

7. [Heze City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yang Shizhen and Ms. Shi Airong Arrested

Ms. Yang Shizhen and Ms. Shi Airong from Shan County were arrested by officers from the Dongguan Police Station on the morning of September 22, 2017. Their homes were ransacked.

8. [Urumqi City, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region] Ms. Zhang Jin Taken to Brainwashing Center

Ms. Zhang Jin, 66, was arrested and taken to the Anningqu Town Brainwashing Center on September 28, 2017.

9. [Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province] Four Practitioners Tried

Ms. Zhong Jinjun, Ms. Xia Zhengyan, Ms. Zhou Ping, and Ms. Zhang Guiqun were tried on September 14, 2017.

Ms. Zhong, whose pension has been suspended, looked pale and thin at the trial.

Ms. Zhou and Ms. Zhang were released on medical bail.

10. [Zhenjiang City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Shu Yade Arrested

Ms. Shu Yadi was arrested by agents from the local 610 Office on September 30, 2017.

11. [Lishui City, Zhejiang Province] Ms. Jin Feng Detained

Ms. Jin Feng from Haoxi Village in Jinyun County was arrested by officers from the Huzhen Town Police Station on September 19, 2017. She is being held in the Lishui City Detention Center.

Ms. Hu Xiaoyun was reported to the authorities for talking to people about Falun Gong on a train to Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province. She was arrested by the Shenzhen police and is being held in the Guangzhou Railway Detention Center.

13. [Ningde City, Fujian Province] Ms. Zhang Fuhua Tried

Ms. Zhang Fuhua, in her 60s, was arrested in May 2017 for distributing Falun Gong materials. She has been put on trial.

14. [Baoqing County, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Chang Ping Detained

Ms. Chang Ping was arrested on September 24, 2017, for hanging Falun Gong banners. Her home was ransacked.

Ms. Chang is being held in Harbin City.

15. [Xinbin County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Yanjie Sentenced to a Three-Year Prison Term

Ms. Liu Yanjie from Weiziyu Town was arrested again by officers from the Xinbin County Police Department on September 30, 2017. She has been sentenced to three years in prison.
