1. [Anning City, Yunnan Province] Mr. Feng Baoding Detained

Mr. Feng Baoding, who works for the Kunming Iron and Steel Group Company, was arrested and his home was ransacked by officers from the Luobai Police Department on the afternoon of October 7, 2017. He is being held in the Anning Detention Center. No family visits have been allowed.

2. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Wenxia Detained

Ms. Wang Wenxia was arrested by Chuanying Police Department officers who were staked out near her home on October 21, 2017. They confiscated her Falun Gong books and detained her for five days.

3. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Yingui Passes Away Due to Persecution

Ms. Wang Yingui passed away at her son's home in Shanghai in early September 2017. She was arrested and subjected to forced labor on numerous occasions for talking to people about Falun Gong.

The last time she was arrested, she was taken to the Jilin City No. 3 Detention Center, where she went on a hunger strike. She was force-fed and injected with unknown drugs. Her whole body swelled, and her life was in imminent danger. She suffered from memory lapses and confused thinking. To avoid being held responsible, the detention center notified her family to take her home. After returning home, she never recovered before she passed away.

4. [Da'an City, Jilin Province] Three Practitioners Detained

Ms. Chen Yumei, Ms. Wang Hongyan, and Ms. Zhang Fengling were arrested at Ms. Zhang's home on October 9, 2017. The police confiscated over 5,000 yuan in cash, a computer, and a printer. The three practitioners are being held in the Zhenlai County Detention Center in Baicheng City.

Plainclothes officers led by officials from the Jindong District Government broke into the homes of Mr. Zhu Zuoxin, Ms. Shen Baochun (in her 80s), and Ms. Chen Jing and arrested them on the morning of October 11, 2017. The three practitioners were taken to the Letian Guesthouse's Brainwashing Center in Lipu Town in the Jindong District.

Ms. Shi Xuan, in her 60s, from the Zhaojiatiao area in the Jiang'an District was arrested at home by the local police and the residential committee staff on the morning of October 23, 2017. Her whereabouts are unknown.

Mr. Min Xinzhi was arrested at home in mid-October 2017. His whereabouts are unknown.

14. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Jia Xiuchun Detained

Ms. Jia Xiuchun was arrested on a business trip in Dunhua City, Jilin Province, in early October 2017. She was taken to the Yaojia Detention Center. The police ransacked her home and confiscated Falun Gong books and a printer on October 10.

15. [Xingcheng City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Shuzhen and Ms. Li Yanru Arrested

Ms. Wang Shuzhen and Ms. Li Yanru were arrested and their homes were ransacked on the afternoon of October 23, 2017, for talking to people about Falun Gong. Ms. Wang was released that day. Ms. Li was taken to the Huludao Detention Center.
