1. [Siping City, Jilin Province] Ms. Xu Jingbo Sentenced

Ms. Xu Jingbo's family was notified by the Tiexi District Court on December 14, 2016, that she was sentenced to a four-and-a-half-year prison term and fined 1,000 yuan. She has appealed to the Siping Intermediate Court.

2. [Liupanshui City, Guizhou Province] Ms. Huang Shufen Sentenced

Ms. Huang Shufen was arrested on February 27, 2016. She is being held at the Liupanshui City No. 1 Detention Center. She was recently sentenced to three years prison.

3. [Wangqing County, Jilin Province] Ms. Teng Kemei Sentenced

Ms. Teng Kemei was secretly sentenced to a three-year prison term. She is now in the Yanji City Detention Center.

4. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Zhao Chunxia and her sister Ms. Zhao Chunhua were arrested by Wulanhada Town Police Station officers on January 19, 2017. The two women had been on their way to distribute calendars. Mr. Bai Jianjun, their driver, was also arrested. They were taken to the Balinzuoqi Detention Center.

5. [Wangdu County, Hebei Province] Three Practitioners Detained

Ms. Xu Shufang, Mr. Ma Guiping, and Mr. Xi Junling were arrested at Ms. Xu's home by Chengguan Police Station officers on January 19, 2017. The police confiscated computers, printers, and informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. The three are being held in the Wangdu County Detention Center.

6. [Renqiu City, Hebei Province] Ms. Liu Xiangming and Ms. Ji Lanxiang Arrested

Ms. Liu Xiangming and Ms. Ji Lanxiang were arrested by officers from the Xihuan Road Police Station on January 18, 2017, for posting stickers with information about Falun Gong on them. Their homes were ransacked the next day. They are both detained.

7. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Yang Ying Detained

Ms. Yang Ying were arrested at home on January 18, 2017. The police ransacked her home and confiscated Falun Gong books and paper bills with information about the persecution of Falun Gong printed on them. She is now in the Guangzhou No. 1 Detention Center.

8. [Linwu County, Hunan Province] Mr. Ou Qizhi Arrested

Mr. Ou Qizhi was arrested on January 16, 2017, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong.

9. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Wu Chaoqi Detained

Mr. Wu Chaoqi, 25, was arrested by officers from the Tianyuan Police Station on January 16, 2017, for posting informational stickers about the persecution of Falun Gong. He is being held in the Tianhe District Detention Center.

10. [Chongqing] Mr. Tang Fenghua Arrested

Mr. Tang Fenghua was arrested and taken to a detention center by officers from Yongchuan and the 610 Office on January 10, 2017, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong.

11. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Zhang Wenxue Imprisoned

Mr. Zhang Wenxue was recently sentenced to eight years in prison. He is now in Beijiang Prison.

12. [Chaozhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Chen Donglian Imprisoned

Ms. Chen Donglian was taken to the Guangdong Province Women's Prison.

13. [Liaocheng City, Shandong Province] Eight Practitioners Harassed

Eight practitioners were harassed and photographed against their will at home by officers from the Linqing Domestic Security Division and the Daxinzhuang Police Station on January 5, 2017. They are Ms. Wang Zeling, Ms. Zhang Yuchun, Mr. Guo Zixiang, Ms. Xu Changlan, Ms. Qu Jinlan, Ms. Qu Zhenlu, Ms. Jiang Hualan, and Mr. Zhang Baoju.
