1. [Yumen City, Gansu Province] Mr. Wang Lifeng Detained

Mr. Wang Lifeng was arrested by officers from the Yumen Oilfield Police Department on February 22, 2017.

He was sentenced to nine years in prison in 2006. He was arrested and detained for 15 days by officers from the Jinchuan District Police Department, Jinchang City, in 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin, the former head of the communist regime, who initiated the persecution of Falun Gong.

2. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Cai Wei Given a Three-Year Prison Term

Ms. Cai Wei was tried at the Wanghua District Court on December 23, 2016. She was given a three-year prison term and fined 10,000 yuan on December 28.

3. [Beijing] Ms. Zhong Xiuqing Given a Two-and-a-Half-Year Prison Term

Ms. Zhong Xiuqing from Nankou Town, Changping District, was arrested at home by officers from the Changping District Court on the afternoon of February 21, 2017. The officers ransacked her home and confiscated a notebook computer among other valuables. She was given a two-and-a-half-year prison term the following day.

4. [Jiangyou City, Sichuan Province] Ms. An Lifen Detained

Ms. An Lifen, in her 40s, was monitored by the Internet content watchers for a long time when she talked to people about Falun Gong on WeChat, a popular social media app. She was arrested at noon on February 13, 2017. The police ransacked her home and confiscated Falun Gong books and three cell phones. She is held in the Jiangyou City Detention Center.

5. [Chongqing] Ms. Gu Yiyi Arrested

Ms. Gu Yiyi from Yubei District was arrested by officers from the Longshan Police Station, Yubei District, at noon on February 15, 2017. The officers confiscated a computer, a photo of the founder of Falun Gong, 48 copies of Falun Gong books, and DVDs.

6. [Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Peng Xiuying Taken to Brainwashing Center

Ms. Peng Xiuying was arrested and taken to the Baima Brainwashing Center, Lishui District.

7. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Luo Xiaojuan and Ms. Zeng Shaomei Detained

Ms. Luo Xiaojuan and Ms. Zeng Shaomai were arrested and taken to a local police station on the afternoon of February 19, 2017 for talking to people about Falun Gong. Both practitioners are held in the Panyu District Detention Center.

8. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Yumei Detained

Ms. Li Yumei, a doctor with the Fushun Petroleum Hospital, was arrested at home by Wei Zhenxing and other officers from the Domestic Security Division a little after 7 p.m. on the evening of February 22, 2017. The officers confiscated nearly 50 copies of Falun Gong books and several notebooks. She was taken to the Jiangjun Police Station for 15 days of detention.

9. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Liu Peidong Arrested

Mr. Liu Peidong, about 60, from No. 3 Village, Laochi Township, was arrested on February 20, 2017. His whereabouts are unknown.

10. [Heyuan City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Deng Shi'e Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Deng Shi'e was given a two-year-and-three-month prison term on January 20, 2017.

11. [Beijing] Ms. Sun Qian Detained

Ms. Sun Qian, from Chaoyang District, was arrested at home on the morning of February 19, 2017. The police confiscated over 80 cell phones and DVDs. She is held in the Beijing City No. 3 Detention Center.

12. [Xiangyang City, Hubei Province] Mr. Zhao Guojiang and Mr. Chen Xinan Arrested

Mr. Zhao Guojiang was arrested and his home ransacked by officers from the Fancheng District Domestic Security Division on February 8, 2017. He was taken to the Xiangyang City Detention Center. He was later transferred to the No. 2 Detention Center by the Shipu Police Station.

Officers from the Fancheng District 610 Office and the Domestic Security Division broke into Mr. Chen Xinan's home and attempted to arrest him on February 8, 2017. He escaped by jumping out of the window.

13. [Zhucheng City, Shandong Province] Mr. Liu Peizhi Given a Two-Year Prison Term

Mr. Liu Peizhi was sentenced to two years in prison and fined 5,000 yuan by the Wulian County Court, Rizhao City, on February 17, 2017.

14. [Chongqing] Ms. Liu Qing Arrested

Three officers from the Changshou District Domestic Security Division and one official from the local community broke into Ms. Liu Qing's home on the afternoon of February 23, 2017. They ransacked her home and found a calendar and an amulet. Ms. Liu was arrested. Her family learned that she was taken to the Taohua Police Station, Changshou District.

15. [Fukang City, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region] Updates of Practitioners Under Persecution

Mr. Zhen Zuoyong, 77, was arrested around November 22, 2016. He has been held in the Fukang City Detention Center. The police confiscated Falun Gong books and materials, four printers, and two computers.

Ms. Li Xiangping was arrested around December 23, 2015. She was sentenced to three years in prison.

Ms. Li Heping, 63, was sentenced to three years in prison toward the end of 2016.

Mr. Wang Wendi, in his 70s, was arrested around November 22, 2016. He returned home at the end of last year.

Ms. Fan Ping has lived under close surveillance and constant harassment.

Ms. Zhang Guixin is 75. Her home was ransacked at the end of last year.

Ms. Yu Fengling is 66. Her home was ransacked in late December 2016. Five copies of Falun Gong books were confiscated.
