(Minghui.org) A vice president of Beijing Leadman Biochemistry Co., Ltd. was arrested for refusing to renounce Falun Gong, a spiritual discipline being persecuted by the Chinese communist regime.

Ms. Sun Qian, 50, is a Canadian citizen who grew up in China’s Shandong Province and currently lives and works in Beijing. She used to suffer from heart palpitations, liver problems, and depression, but all her symptoms disappeared after she began practicing Falun Gong in 2014.

She was home on February 19, 2017 when more than two dozen officers broke in and arrested her. Her Falun Gong books, cell phone, computer, printer, and other valuables were confiscated.

The police, however, refused to disclose where she was being detained. It took her family several weeks to find out that she is now being held in the Beijing First Detention Center.

Ms. Sun’s lawyer, who had met with her twice, is working with her family to seek her release. In the meantime, they call for the public to lend a helping hand by calling the following numbers:
