(Minghui.org) Two procuratorates in two different cities of Shandong Province recently cleared all charges against Falun Gong practitioners.
The Bincheng District Procuratorate in Binzhou City cleared the charges against Falun Gong practitioners Ms. Shao Hong and Ms. Pan Shulan in January 2017.
Ms. Shao and Ms. Pan distributed Falun Gong information materials and talked to people about the persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party on September 22, 2015. The police arrested and detained both women.
After the ladies were released on bail, the police continued to harass them. The police filed charges against them with the procuratorate again in January 2017. But the agency withdrew the indictments, citing insufficient legal grounds for the charges.
Practitioner Ms. Kou Hui, an employee of Qilu Petroleum and Chemical Company in Zibo City, recently filed a criminal complaint against Jiang Zemin for launching the persecution of Falun Gong in 1999.
The police filed charges against Ms. Kou with the Linzi District Procuratorate. The procuratorate, however, cleared her of the charges.
The police station still detained Ms. Kou for 15 days before releasing her.
