A Falun Gong parade in Montreal met with enthusiastic public support. The show has an attendance of nearly 900,000 from all over the world. Dozens of Chinese companies participate. Falun Gong practitioners took the great opportunity to distribute flyers and talk with people, including many tourists from China.
The practitioners' booths attracted many festival-goers at North Texas Peace Day, the Denton Blues Festival, the Sherman Art Fest, and the Hispanic Heritage Festival.
Locals were eager to help the practitioners raise awareness of the persecution of Falun Gong in China.
