Practitioners Are All One Body

(Minghui.org) When I get on the Minghui website, I always first browse the persecution reports in the “China Comprehensive News” section to see if any of our local practitioners have been persecuted. If I find that this is the case, I write down the name of the arrested practitioner, the district, and the police station involved in the persecution. I then mail that police station a relevant persecution article that I have either copied from the Minghui website or asked a fellow practitioner to write.

Most of the practitioners in my area thought that we needed to first clarify the truth to the police. Once the police officers understood the facts, they would not persecute practitioners anymore. We have used this approach for years, and the results have been good. Many police officers and city employees have quit the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliated organizations as a result of our efforts.

I generally didn't pay much attention to persecution cases from other areas and only roughly glanced through the reports without the compassion that a Dafa disciple should have. I even had the thought that “practitioners in our area have done a better job.”

It costs 80 cents to send a letter locally and 40 cents more for out-of-town letters. In our Fa-study group on September 5, after finishing a lecture of Zhuan Falun (the main book of Falun Gong), a fellow practitioner mentioned that she still had some stamps for out-of-town mailing. I thought it would be a waste of 40 cents to use those stamps for local mailings. But I also thought that mailing persecution articles to other areas would not help us much.

After getting home from Fa study, I opened up the Minghui website to read the persecution news. Since there were no local cases reported, I turned off the computer.

I had a dream that night. A young woman, who had a sheet of paper in hand, repeatedly asked me to remember the word “Xiantao.” This woman seemed to know that I wasn't always focused or careful. She set the paper in front of me and patiently pointed to the words on the paper. There were four Chinese characters clearly printed in black, which read “Xiantao, Commitment.” When I woke up from the dream, the word “Commitment” was still ringing in my ears.

I searched the persecution news on the Minghui website for September 5 the next morning and found a report about practitioners being harassed in Xiantao City. I was very moved upon reading this news. It was exactly the city that the woman had pointed out to me. But why was the word “Commitment” after Xiantao? It was obvious that because I did not deliver on my commitment, Master gave me another opportunity through the dream to make it up.

I enlightened that practitioners everywhere are all one body.

I patiently wrote down the addresses of the organizations that harassed the practitioners in that area. As I wrote the letters, I felt that Master was expanding my body. Just as Master taught us in Zhuan Falun, the expansion of my mind led to changes in my body.

Master said,

“With a change in character will come a significant change in your body; physical changes in your body are guaranteed to accompany positive changes in your mind.” (Zhuan Falun)

When I wrote this article, many old forces’ principles wound around me. They mocked me, “It's no use writing it. It won't be published, and you will lose face.”

“I only do what Master wants,” I shouted. Master's Fa teachings have been deeply rooted in my mind. It is Master who makes practitioners be responsible for one another.
