(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 13 cities or counties in 6 provinces. According to this report, 5 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 13 were illegally arrested.

Ms. Pang Zhongyan and Ms. Wang Yufeng were arrested by officers from the Dongshan Police Department when they were talking to people about Falun Gong on September 13, 2018.

3. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Zheng Decai Held in Prison and Family Visits Denied

Mr. Zheng Decai, 80, from Zhuanghe City, was transferred to Dalian Prison on August 13, 2018. His family member went to visit him on September 13. They were told that Mr. Zheng refused to be transformed, and they could not meet him.

4. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Zheng Lubo, Ms. Wang, and another practitioner who is from out of town, were arrested at the Beiling Park on September 13, 2018. They were taken to the Zaohua Detention Center. Ms. Wang was released for failing the physical exam.

5. [Yingkou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Gao Xiuhua Taken to Prison

Ms. Gao Xiuhua, 65, was arrested by officers from the Zhanqian District Police Department, the Domestic Security Division, and the Jianshe Police Station on June 28, 2016. She was held in the Yingkou City Detention Center. She was tried by the Xishi District Court on April 27, 2017. She was given a two-and-a-half-year prison term on March 19, 2018.

Ms. Gao was held in the Yingkou City Detention Center for two years. She was recently taken to Masanjia Prison.

6. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Mr. Xing Yumin Detained

Mr. Xing Yumin from Zhifu District was arrested by officers from the Shengquan Police Station, Laishan District, when he was talking to people about Falun Gong at the Laishan District farmers market on the morning of September 8, 2018. His home was ransacked. He is being held in the Laishan Detention Center for 15 days.

7. [Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province] Mr. Li Wende and Mr. Song Jianwen Arrested

Mr. Li Wende and Mr. Song Jianwen, from Huwangzhuang Village, Linglong Town, were arrested at home by officers from the Linglong Town Police Station on September 11, 2018.

8. [Laiyang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Qiaofeng Detained

Cheng Zhendong, an officer from the Tuanwang Town Police Station, and five other officers from the Laiyang City Domestic Security Division broke into Ms. Zhang Qiaofeng's home in Xiaogezhuang Village and ransacked it on the afternoon of September 14, 2018. Ms. Zhang was arrested. She is being held in the Longwangzhuang Detention Center.

9. [Yichuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Ms. Li Shuxia Detained

Yang Xue and three other officers from the Yingulu Police Station, Xingqing District, broke into Ms. Li Shuxia's home in the Qingyuan Residential Community. Without showing any legal documents, the officers ransacked the place and confiscated photos of the founder of Falun Gang.

Ms. Li was arrested on July 16, 2018 for posting Falun Gong materials. She was detained for 10 days. Several days after she returned home, the police ransacked her home again.

10. [Yueyang County, Hunan Province] Ms. Zeng Guzhen Sentenced

Ms. Zeng Guzhen was arrested by officers from the Yueyang County Police Department on January 24, 2018 because there was a group Fa-study at her home. She was released on bail on January 30. Yueyang County Court sentenced her to one year’s imprisonment with one year’s probation on April 10, 2018.

11. [Xingcheng City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhao Lijun Detained

Ms. Zhao Lijun was arrested on August 3, 2018 and has been held in Huludao Detention Center for more than one month.

Ms. Zhao was arrested on July 14, 2014 by officers from Wenquan Police Station and held in Huludao Detention Center.

Several officers from Wenquan Police Station went to Ms. Zhao’s home on July 5, 2017. They took a picture of the founder of Falun Gong, Dafa books, and other items. Ms. Zhao was not home at that time. The police took away her husband Cong Xuehui. He was detained for 15 days and fined 500 yuan.

12. [Shangqiu City, Henan Province] Ms. Huang Xiulan Sentenced

When Ms. Huang Xiulan gave a passerby a new year's calendar in Suiyang District on December 15, 2017, the man reported her to the police. Ms. Huang was arrested and her home was also ransacked.

Suiyang District Court tried Ms. Huang on August 10, 2018. Her lawyer defended her not guilty. However, the court sentenced her to four years of imprisonment and she was fined 5,000 yuan.

13. [Luoyang City, Henan Province] Ms. Guo Yuxiao Arrested

Ms. Guo Yuxia’s husband, Liu Weitao was arrested on May 24, 2018. Ms. Guo locked the door because the police did not present a search warrant when they tried to search her home. She refused to allow the police to search until they presented a search warrant later that afternoon. The police arrested Ms. Guo with the excuse of her bad attitude and took her to the Luoyang Detention Center that night. She was held there for 37 days. Her three young children were left home alone.

After she was released Ms. Guo tried to raise support for her husband’s case. She was arrested again on the night of September 12, 2018.
