(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 12 cities or counties in 5 provinces. According to this report, 40 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 6 were illegally arrested.

1. [Anshan City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Suzhi and Ms. Xu Hui Arrested

Ms. Liu Suzhi and Ms. Xu Hui were arrested by officers from the Shuangshan Police Station on November 16, 2018, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. Ms. Xu was transferred to Lishan Police Station. She is currently held at the Anshan City Women's Detention Center.

2. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Tong Yueliang Persecuted

Mr. Tong Yueliang was sentenced to a five-year prison term in May 2018. He was imprisoned at Shenyang No. 1 Prison and deprived of family visits.

His health has deteriorated due to the persecution. Mr. Tong's family asked that he be treated but their request was rejected by prison officials.

3. [Liaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Song Lijing Arrested

Ms. Song Lijing was arrested at home by local officers on November 26, 2018. The police ransacked her home and confiscated Falun Gong books and cash.

4. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhan Shuhua Imprisoned

Ms. Zhan Shuhua, 59, was taken to Liaoning Women's Prison on November 20, 2018.

Ms. Zhan, arrested on June 28, 2017, was sentenced to a eight-year prison term by Lushun Court. She appealed to the Dalian Intermediate Court, which upheld her sentence.

5. [Rongcheng City, Shandong Province] Two Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Lu Xiuzhi and Ms. Wang Qiao were arrested by officers from the Chishan Police Station on November 27, 2018, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. They were taken to Rongcheng Hospital for physical examination. Ms. Lu was released that evening because she failed it. Ms. Wang is currently held at the Rongcheng City Detention Center.

6. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Xingju Sentenced

Ms. Wang Xingju was sentenced to an eight-month prison term by the Laishan District Court on November 16, 2018.

7. [Zaozhuang City, Shandong Province] Mr. Li Baotong's Whereabouts Unknown

Mr. Li Baotong was arrested by local officers for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. He was held at the Yuelou Detention Center for 18 day in June 2018. His current whereabouts are unknown.

8. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Wu Yanhua and Mr. Guan Xingtao Detained

Ms. Wu Yanhua and her husband Mr. Guan Xingtao were arrested on November 9, 2018. The police later ransacked their home and confiscated Falun Gong books. They were taken to the Kaifa District Police Department and transferred to the Daqing City No. 1 Detention Center on November 11.

9. [Chongqing] Ms. Wu Qun Arrested

Ms. Wu Qun was arrested on November 28, 2018, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong.

10. [Baoji City, Shaanxi Province] Nine Practitioners Detained

Nine practitioners were arrested on November 8, 2018, when they were reading Falun Gong books at a practitioner's home. Two of them are in their 80s. They were detained at Kangtuo Hotel on Dongfeng Road. On November 14, they were forced to undergo physical examinations. Later the two elderly practitioners and another one were released.

Six other practitioners were detained. Ms. Xiao Yuling and Mr. Wang Yuzhi were detained for five days. Ms. Gao Qifen and Ms. Wang Yuping were detained for 10 days. Ms. Wang Yuling and Ms. Zhang Hongxia are still held at a detention center.

In addition, another two practitioners were arrested by officers from the Qizhen Police Station and detained for 10 days.

Ms. Liu Suoqin was held at a detention center for 15 days.

11. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Han Bing Sentenced

Ms. Han Bing, 36, was arrested by officers from the Chongqinglu Police Station on July 13, 2017, for wearing T-shirt having information "Stop Persecution of Falun Gong" and "Stop Organ Harvesting" on it. She was recently sentenced to a three-and-a-half-year prison term and taken to Changchun Women’s Prison.

12. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Several Practitioners Arrested

Several practitioners were arrested on November 9, 2018.

The 16 female practitioners are: Ms. Bai Liyan, Ms. Song Jiuxiang, Ms. Tan Guiqin, Ms. Tan Hongmei, Ms. Xu Feng, Ms. Bai Lijie, Ms. Huang Jingjie, Ms. Wang Xiaorong, Ms. Sun Shibo, Ms. Wang Yaqin, Ms. Qu Shuhua, Ms. Zhang Hong, Ms. Li Guizhen, Ms. Meng Qinglan, Ms. Sun Laowu, and Ms. Gao Guiqin.

The five male practitioners are: Mr. Wang Dongzhe, Mr. Wang Lianquan, Mr. Wang De, Mr. An Guoqiang, and Mr. Li Weiku.

Ms. Bai Liyan, Ms. Song Jiuxiang, Ms. Tan Guiqin, Ms. Wang Yaqin, and Ms. Meng Qinglan were detained. Ms. Tan Hongmei, Ms. Wang Xiaorong, Ms. Bai Lijie, and Qu Shuhua were sent to criminal detention on November 24.

In the evening of November 9, Ms. Zhang Hong and another practitioner named Sun were released. Ms. Li Guizhen, Ms. Xu Feng, Ms. Gao Guiqin, Ms. Huang Jingjie, and Sun were released on November 24.
