(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 11 cities or counties in 8 provinces. According to this report, 1 Falun Gong practitioner was subjected to mistreatment during detention, and at least 11 were illegally arrested.

Ms. Zhao Guichun was arrested by officers from Tiedong Police Station on May 15, 2018.

Ms. Cheng Jinxiu and Ms. Nie Jinying were arrested in Yanqing County on May 14, 2018, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong.

3. [Yingtan City, Jiangxi Province] Mr. Geng Decheng Arrested

Mr. Geng Decheng was arrested by officers from the Jiangbian Police Station in Yuehu District on May 16, 2018.

4. [Hengyang City, Hunan Province] Mr. Yang Jianhua Arrested

Mr. Yang Jianhua was arrested by local officers on May 15, 2018, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. He was taken to Baishazhou Detention Center.

5. [Chenzhou City, Hunan Province] Mr. Liao Songling Arrested

Mr. Liao Songling was arrested at home by officers from the Suxian District Domestic Security Division on May 13, 2018. The police confiscated all Falun Gong books, pictures of the founder of Falun Gong, and other personal belongings. Mr. Liao was released that evening.

6. [Lingyuan City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Fengying Arrested

Ms. Wang Fengying was arrested by officers from Kazuo Domestic Security Division and the Mohudian Police Station in Lingyuan City on May 17, 2018. The police confiscated Falun Gong books and a picture of the founder of Falun Gong.

Mr. Zhang Defu was arrested by officers from the Hadawan Police Station in Changyi District for suing Jiang Zemin, the former Chinese dictator. Mr. Zhang was held at a detention center for five days.

9. [Urumqi, Xinjiang] Ms. Zhang Ruiling Detained

Ms. Zhang Ruiling was arrested by officers from the Urumqi Domestic Security Division on May 1, 2018. She is currently being held at the No. 3 Detention Center.

Ms. Liu Baoqiong, 48, was arrested at home by officers from the Yiliang County Police Department on May 15, 2018. She was held at Anning Detention Center in Kunming City for 15 days and deprived of family visitation.
