(Minghui.org) As the New Year approaches, many people sent in greetings to wish Master Li a Happy New Year even though they do not practice Falun Dafa themselves.
These non-practitioners have family members or neighbors who practice Falun Dafa and have learned that Falun Dafa is good. Many, in turn, have been blessed for supporting Falun Dafa.
Our Whole Family Believes in Master Li
Mr. Yang from the Xicheng District in Beijing wrote the following in his greeting to Master Li:
“The neighbor who lives right across the hall from me is a Falun Dafa practitioner. I still remember what happened to him about 20 years ago.
“A group of officers knocked on his door to say they were checking everyone's water meter. He let them in, only to have them turn his apartment upside down. The commotion alarmed me and other neighbors. We condemned the police for their behavior.
“I sneaked into my neighbor's apartment when the police were not watching. I gathered all the Falun Dafa books I could find and his portrait of Master Li and carried them into my apartment.
“The police couldn't find any Falun Gong materials in my neighbor's apartment. They tried to drag him downstairs by his feet. We stopped them, and they finally let him walk downstairs by himself.
“He was arrested and sent to a forced labor camp. After he was released, I returned his Falun Dafa materials to him. He was very touched and explained why he held firm to his faith. He also helped me and my family members quit the Chinese Communist Party and its youth organizations.
“My daughter, who had been married for years, struggled with infertility. She went to our neighbor's apartment and kowtowed to Master Li's portrait, asking for a child.
“She became pregnant several months later and gave birth to a healthy boy. Our joy is beyond words. We truly believe that Master Li gave our family this precious child.
“We wish Master Li a Happy New Year.”
Practitioner’s Husband Supports Falun Dafa
A man who lives in the Huangpi District of Wuhan City, Hebei Province, does not practice Falun Dafa, but he'd like to wish Master Li a Happy New Year.
His wife is a Falun Dafa practitioner. She often advised him to recite “Falun Dafa is good and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” He took her words to heart and quickly recovered from several catastrophic illnesses. His doctors called his recovery inexplicable and miraculous.
His own experience made him truly believe that Falun Dafa is a righteous Way. He has been supporting his wife's practice of Falun Dafa for years, despite the ongoing persecution.
He hopes that more people can realize that Falun Dafa is good. He believes that they'd be blessed just like him if they supported Falun Dafa.
Gratitude from Families of Detained Practitioners
Family members of Dafa practitioners detained in Jingzhou City, Hubei Province, also sent in their greeting to wish Master Li a Happy New Year.
They wrote that, when their loved ones were arrested and taken to the local detention center, many local practitioners sprang into action to seek their release.
These family members were encouraged and inspired by the local practitioners’ rescue efforts. They thank Master Li for his immense compassion and hope Master will be able to return to China one day.
