(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 3 cities or counties in 2 provinces, where at least 5 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Xiang Ying Abused in Prison
2. [Yan'an City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Wang Hong Sentenced to Prison
3. [Baoji City, Shaanxi Province] Mr. Fu Zhengqiang and Mr. Xi Shuansheng Taken Into Custody
4. [Baoji City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Zhang Caixia Detained

1. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Xiang Ying Abused in Prison

Ms. Xiang Ying was sentenced to 12 years in prison by the Linghe District Court in 2008. She was taken to the Nanguanling Prison in Dalian City.

Ms. Xiang was later transferred to the No. 1 Ward of Shenyang City No. 1 Prison. She has been physically abused in prison.

2. [Yan'an City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Wang Hong Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Wang Hong was recently sentenced to three and a half years in prison by the Yan'an City Court, and is being held in the Shaanxi Province Women's Prison.

3. [Baoji City, Shaanxi Province] Mr. Fu Zhengqiang and Mr. Xi Shuansheng Taken Into Custody

Mr. Fu Zhengqiang, from the Jintai District, was arrested in early November 2018. He has since been in custody.

Mr. Xi Shuansheng, from the Weibin District, was arrested on January 14, 2019, and is being held in the Weibin Detention Center.

4. [Baoji City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Zhang Caixia Detained

Ms. Zhang Caixia, from Wuxing Village in the Jintai District, was arrested in late December 2018. She was held in the Lingyun Hotel, where she was tied to an iron chair torture device for over 15 days.

Ms. Zhang was later transferred to the Jintai Detention Center, where she was held for over ten days. She has since returned home.
