(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 14 cities or counties in 8 provinces, where at least 20 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Gulin County, Sichuan Province] Mr. Li Changlin Arrested

Mr. Li Changlin from Lijiazhai Village, Dongxin Township, was arrested by officer Li Bo from the Xinxiang Police Station, officer Liu Sujian from the Dacun Police Station, and three others on March 26, 2019. His home was ransacked, and photos of the founder of Falun Gong, Falun Gong books, and other materials were confiscated.

2. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Huang Keqin Detained

Liushan resident Ms. Huang Keqin was arrested on April 25, 2019, and her home ransacked. She is being held in the Nangou Detention Center.

3. [Chongqing] Ms. Lan Tailian Facing Trial

Ms. Lan Tailian, 72, from the Hechuan District, was reported to the authorities for using paper bills with information about Falun Gong printed on them at a grocery store on January 30, 2019. She was arrested, and will be tried at the Jiangbei District Court on May 6.

4. [Liaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Jiang Hua and Ms. Fan Arrested

Ms. Jiang Hua and Ms. Fan were arrested on April 18, 2019. Their homes were ransacked.

5. [Tieling City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Fuzhi Detained

Ms. Liu Fuzhi was arrested near Maoyicheng by officers from the Tongzhong Police Department on April 23, 2019, for talking to people about Falun Gong. Her home was ransacked, and Falun Gong books, USB flash drives, and other personal belongings were confiscated. A search warrant was only presented after Ms. Liu had been detained for ten days.

6. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Li Shaozhi Detained

Mr. Li Shaozhi was arrested by officers from the Minkanglu Police Station, Nanguan District on September 22, 2017. He was tried on November 16, 2018, without a verdict being reached.

Mr. Li has been held in the Changchun City No. 3 Detention Center for nearly two years.

7. [Pingba County, Guizhou Province] Ms. Pang Ping and Ms. Zhang Wei Detained

Ms. Pang Ping and Ms. Zhang Wei, retirees in Pingba County, were arrested on April 18, 2019. They were taken to the Anshun City Detention Center.

8. [Fuyang City, Anhui Province] Mr. Gong Liang and Ms. Ji Bangxia Arrested

Liu Xiangkun, head of the Taihe County Domestic Security Division, and over a dozen officers broke into Mr. Gong Liang's workplace, and confiscated four cameras, four computers, two art engraving machines, several bank cards, Mr. Gong's ID card, and cash. The officers then went to Mr. Gong's parents' home and confiscated Falun Gong books and more cash. Mr. Gong was taken to the Taihe Detention Center.

The police also arrested Ms. Ji Bangxia on April 23, 2019.

9. [Huanggang City, Hubei Province] Ms. Min Qiuzhen Detained

Ms. Min Qiuzhen from Bali Town, Hong'an County, was arrested around April 25, 2019, when she was talking to people about Falun Gong in Macheng City. Yao Xuejun, head of the Hong'an Domestic Security Division, ransacked her home the following day.

Ms. Min is being held in the Macheng Detention Center.

10. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Li Xueqin and Ms. Sun Xiaohui Tried

Ms. Li Xueqin and Ms. Sun Xiaohui, from the Acheng District, were arrested on November 9, 2018. They were tried by the Acheng Court on April 24, 2019.

11. [Bayan County, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Zhang Zhenjun Detained

Mr. Zhang Zhenjun from Dongxu Village was arrested by officers from the Xinglong Town Police Station on April 25, 2019. He was taken to a detention center.

12. [Guang'an City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Li Tianguo and His Wife Ms. Jing Kaixiu Missing

Mr. Li Tianguo and his wife Ms. Jing Kaixiu from the Chengnan area have been missing since April 23, 2019.

13. [Ankang City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Li Yongxiu's Home Ransacked

Ms. Li Yongxiu and many others were harassed by officers from the Hanbin District Domestic Security Division and the local police stations in April 2019. Ms. Li's home was ransacked.

14. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Liping Officially Arrested

Ms. Zhang Liping, in her 50s, and three other practitioners were arrested by officers from the Qihe Police Department in Qihe County on April 19, 2019. They are being held in the Qihe Detention Center.

Ms. Zhang's car and computer were confiscated. She has officially been placed under arrest.

Ms. Zhang and her father Mr. Zhang Tinglin were persecuted by Cheng Kun and Su Feng, heads of the Zouping City 610 Office, in 2009. They were both sentenced to a forced labor camp.
