(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 10 cities or counties in 5 provinces, where at least 16 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

8. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Liao Daying and Ms. Tang Renju Arrested
9. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Ms. Zhou Jingrong and Three Other Practitioners Arrested
10. [Beijing] Mr. Li Zhenge Sentenced to Prison
1. [Chongqing] Mr. Li Chaozhi Arrested
Mr. Li Chaozhi from Yunyang County was arrested at a High-Speed Rail Station by officers from that station when he bought a ticket with his national ID card. His current whereabouts are unknown.
2. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Mou Le Sentenced to Prison
Ms. Mou Le from Huanggu District was tried, given a four-year prison term, and fined 20,000 yuan.
3. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Yu Xiangjia Tried
Mr. Yu Xiangjia was tried at Xigang Court on December 11, 2019. The court did not notify his family.
4. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhai Suping Taken to Prison
Ms. Zhai Suping from Qinglong County was taken to Shijiazhuang Women's Prison on December 3, 2019.

5. [Leshan City, Sichuan Province] Three Practitioners Sentenced to Prison
Ms. Shang Chunyue, 77, was given a three-year-and-ten-month prison term by Wutongqiao District Court. Mr. Liu Zhizhao, 74, was given a two-year, and Mr. Rong Bo, 35, a one-year-and-six-month prison term.
6. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Xianzhen Missing for 13 Years
Ms. Wang Xianzhen, who would be in her 70s, has been missing since 2006.
7. [Jieyang City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Wang Yanjuan Arrested
Ms. Wang Yanjuan from Jiedong County was arrested by Yang Jianwei, director of the Chengxi Police Station, when she talked to people about Falun Gong on the evening of December 19, 2019.

8. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Liao Daying and Ms. Tang Renju Arrested
Ms. Liao Daying and Ms. Tang Renju were followed, videotaped, and arrested by officers from Fuyuanlu Police Station, Chuanshan District, when they talked to people about Falun Gong on the morning of December 4, 2019. They were taken to the police station, where they were interrogated in separate rooms, and videotaped.
9. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Ms. Zhou Jingrong and Three Other Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Zhou Jingrong from Hongshan District and another female practitioner were arrested by officers from Zhaowuda Police Station on November 21, 2019. Ms. Zhou was released after the police extorted cash from her. The other practitioner was locked in an iron chair and brutally beaten by the officers. The officers pulled her hair, and punched her on the head. Her face immediately swelled, and she could not see. The police went to her workplace, and pressured her work unit to terminate her pension. She was released 11 days later.
Ms. Gao Guixia was arrested on the afternoon of November 27, 2019, below the building of her rented apartment by plainclothes officers. The officers had been following her and were staked out there. She was taken to a detention center.
Ms. Duan Lianying from Xincheng District was displaced. She was probably arrested in recent days.
10. [Beijing] Mr. Li Zhenge Sentenced to Prison
Mr. Li Zhenge was given a four-year prison term. He has appealed.
