1. [Dazhou City, Sichuan Province] Six Practitioners Tried Online

Six practitioners of Dazhu County, Mr. Wang Haiqian, Tang Zhikai (gender unknown), Mr. Deng Mingzhi, Ms. He Dachui, Lu Chengmin (gender unknown), and Ms. Zheng Dongfen, were tried online in the Songpolin Detention Center on November 5, 2020. They wore masks, showing only their eyes. Their immediate family members watched the online trial in court after they applied for audit permits. Police blocked the roads around the gate of the court, with no traffic and no pedestrians. A fire truck was stationed nearby. The tightened security ended at 6 p.m.

2. [Dengta City, Liaoning Province] Wang Honexu’s Case Submitted to Court

Wang Hongxu (gender unknown) was arrested in front of home by four officers from the Dengta City Domestic Security Division, include head Li Chenglin, on the afternoon of September 14, 2020. Wang’s home was ransacked. A Falun Gong book, a one yuan truth clarification note, a pendant, and a calendar were confiscated. After being held in the police department over night, Wang was interrogated, taken to a hospital for physical exam, then brought to the Liaoning City Detention Center. Because of high blood pressure, Wang was sent home.

Wang was interrogated by prosecutors on October 22. Wang’s case was submitted to court on November 3.

3. Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province] Court Will Hear Ms. Kong Aizhen’s Pension Case

Ms. Kong Aizhen’s pension has been stopped by Xiaoshan Social Security. The case was filed with the court. The 19^th court of Hangzhou City Intermediate Court will hear the case on the morning of November 23, 2020.

4. [Maoming City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Li Shunhua Arrested

Ms. Li Shunhua was arrested at home by a dozen officers from the Zhanqian Police Station on the morning of October 23, 2020. The officers seized all of her Falun Gong books and materials. She was brought to the police station. The officers threatened her, tried to make her give up practice and write three statements. Ms. Li refused. She was taken to a hospital for physical exam, which was a prerequisite for sending her to a detention center. The detention center did not take her in because her physical exam results were too bad. Police had no choice but to release her.

5. [Xining City, Qinghai Province] Ms. Bao Shenglian Detained, Ms. Zhang Xuemei Arrested

Ms. Bao Shenglian was arrested on August 27, 2020. Her home was ransacked. Ms. Zhang Xuemei was arrested at the same time. Ms. Bao’s arrest was approved by the Chengdong District Procuratorate. She was transferred to a detention center.

6. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Yueqin Harassed

Ms. Wang Yueqin has been harassed by phone. Six officers from the Zhentou Police Station came to Ms. Wang’s home on October 26, 2020. Ms. Wang was out. They got the name of her work unit and her phone number from her family. They called her several times, ordering her to meet them and sign papers.

7. [Changsha City, Hunan Province] Additional News on Group Arrested

More than ten practitioners were arrested within October 27 and 28, 2020 in a city wide coordinated raid. The Hunan Province Domestic Security Division, Changsha City Domestic Security Division, and all police departments under Changsha City Police Department were involved. The police had been monitoring practitioners through the internet and telecommunication surveillance system.

Mr. Meng Kai was arrested by officers from the Liuyang City Police Department at 5 a.m. on October 28. He was handcuffed, taken away from home, and taken back home at 4 p.m. so police could ransack his home. The officers videotaped the process and seized a set of Falun Gong books, three pictures of Falun Gong's founder, two printers, and two computers. Mr. Meng was imprisoned in the Changsha City No. 1 Detention Center at 10 p.m. on October 29, 2020.

8. [Xinbin County, Liaoning Province] Mr. Wang Zhongsheng Arrested

Mr. Wang Zhongsheng was arrested by officers from the Xinbin Domestic Security Division on November 1, 2020. His home was ransacked. His son was called to the police department to sign documents in the afternoon. Mr. Wang is being held in an unknown place.

9. [Beijing] Ms. Liang Heping’s Daughter Harassed

Ms. Liang Heping’s daughter got a call from Guo Haofeng, director of the Huairou Police Station, after 9 a.m. on November 2, 2020. Guo placed the call through her work unit’s security department. Guo asked about the whereabouts of her mother, and said Ms. Liang had a case with them in April, and if she did not go to the police station to go through the process, he would submit her name to the police wanted list. Ms. Liang’s daughter was angered and scared by his words.

Ms. Liang Heping was arrested in the street by Guo and two other officers on the afternoon of April 4, 2020 after someone reported her talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong and distributing Falun Gong discs. She was taken to a hospital for a physical exam, which was a prerequisite before the police could bring her to a detention center. Her blood pressure was so high that she was released on bail.

10. [Changle County, Shandong Province] Four Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Sun Yufang, Ms. Li Aihua, Ms. Li Ailing, and Ms. Zhang Guimei were arrested in an open market by officers from the Baocheng Police Station on the morning of October 23, 2020. They were taken to the police station for interrogation. The practitioners did not comply. They clarified the truth. Their families actively appealed for their release. They were released at sunset.

11. [Shanghai] Ms. Gu Yueling and Ms. Xu Xiaoyan Under Surveillance

The home of Ms. Guo Yueling and Ms. Xu Xiaoyan has been watched since November 4, 2020. Three unknown men sat in a black car parked in front of their door.

12. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wu Zhixue Subpoenaed

Ms. Wu Zhixue, 68, a teacher at Chunguang Primary School, was subpoenaed by the Chuanying District Court on November 5, 2020.

Ms. Wu was subjected to a year of forced labor in 2006 after a student’s parent reported her for talking to students about the persecution of Falun Gong.

Ms. Wu was released on bail in March, 2020 after she was arrested by officers from the Xinbei Police Station for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong.

13. [Shuining City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Liu Peipei Detained for 10 Days

Ms. Liu Peipei was arrested at home by a dozen officers led by village cadres Tang Kunneng and Li Deming on the evening of October 22, 2020. They ransacked Ms. Liu’s home, and confiscated her Falun Gong books, a picture of Falun Gong founder, a computer, and truth clarification currency worth over 500 yuan. They extorted 2,000 yuan from Ms. Liu’s family. Ms. Liu was detained for 10 days and released on November 2.

14. [Tai’an City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Xiuying and Ms. Guo Yuhua Arrested

Ms. Wang Xiuying of Wenkou Town visited Ms. Guo Yuhua of Manzhuang Town at noon on November 5, 2020. A plainclothes officer entered Ms. Guo’s home following Ms. Wang, then called in officers in two cars. The officers arrested Ms. Guo and Ms. Wang, ransacked the place, and confiscated some Falun Gong materials.

15. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Zou Liyu Disappeared

Ms. Zou Liyu, single, works in the Hongshan District Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital. She has disappeared for several days. A witness said that she was taken away from her home by several officers.

16. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Sheng Xiangmei and Ms. Wang Yingjun Detained Over 17 Months

Ms. Sheng Xiangmei and Ms. Wang Yingjun was arrested by officers from the Yongji Police Station on June 23, 2019 when they were talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. They have since been held at the Changchun City No. 4 Detention Center.

Ms. Sheng and Ms. Wang’s case was transferred to the Chaoyang District Procuratorate and the Chaoyang District Court from the Nanguan District Procuratorate in July 2019. The Chaoyang District procuratorate and court illegally prolonged their detention, and detained them beyond the time limit for concluding a trial.

17. [Chongqing] Ms. Yan Huiyu Harassed

Ms. Yan Huiyu was harassed by community Communist Party secretary Zhang Yi and other agents at around 6 p.m. on October 25, 2020. They tried to force her to sign the three statements. Ms. Yan refused. They then threatened her husband, saying they would immediately call the police and arrest her if no one signed the statements. Her husband was forced to sign.

18. [Fuyuan County, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Tan Mingcheng and Mr. Lu Xiugang Harassed

Mr. Tan Mingcheng was harassed at work by agents from the Political and Legal Affairs Committee and village Communist Party secretary on the morning of November 4, 2020. They demanded that Mr. Tan say that he no longer practiced Falun Gong in front of a camcorder. Mr. Tan refused.

At noon, officers from the Domestic Security Division, and agents from the Political and Legal Affairs Committee and township government came to Mr. Tan’s home and threatened his family, “If he does not say it, he will be arrested immediately and sentenced to three to five years in prison.” Head of Domestic Security Division Chai Jinlin ordered his family to the police department and threatened them.

On November 3, 2020. officers from the Zhuaji Town Police Station pretended to be conducting a census, and asked his neighbor in the village for Mr. Lu Xiugang’s address. On November 4, agents from the township Political and Legal Affairs Committee and village Communist Party secretary came to Mr. Lu’s workplace and asked him to say that he renounced practicing Falun Gong in front of a camcorder. They said he could do whatever he wanted after that, but if he did not comply, the police department would get involved. Mr. Lu refused to comply.

19. [Xinbin County, Liaoning Province] Three practitioners Detained

Ms. Liu Yan, Ms. Li Chuanzhi, and Ms. Zhang Yulan were arrested by officers from the Yongling Town Police Station on the morning of November 3, 2020. They were imprisoned in the Xinbin County Detention Center the same day.

20. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Xu Yanlin in Critical Condition

Mr. Xu Yanlin was harassed at home by agent Cai Zexiang and two others from the Sandian Street Political and Legal Affairs Office on October 28, 2020. The next day, Cai came again with officers from the Sandian Police Station. They ransacked the place, confiscated his Falun Gong books, and tried to take him away. Mr. Xu was so frightened that he slid down from a chair and lost consciousness. Officer Han realized things went wrong and called 120 for an emergency vehicle. Mr. Xu was taken to the Xinzhou District People’s Hospital. His son paid 3,000 yuan for his medical bill. After that, the family could not afford any further medical treatment. Mr. Xu cannot speak or eat.

21. [Chuxiong City, Yunnan Province] Ms. Liu Yijun Arrested

Ms. Liu Yijun was arrested at home by officer He Yong and others from the Chuxiong City Domestic Security Division on November 4, 2020. They interrogated Ms. Liu in the police department. Ms. Liu did not comply and clarified the truth to them. She was released on bail at 10 p.m.

22. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Ms. Kong Fanzhen Detained

Ms. Kong Fanzhen is being held at a detention center.

23. [Zhenjiang City, Jiangsu Province] Shen Huiqing Face Trial

Shen Huiqing (gender unknown) is scheduled to be tried on November 10, 2020.

24. [Liaoyuan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Yi Lanhua Face Trial

Ms. Yi Lanhua was arrested at home by officers from the Xiangyang Police Department on the evening of July 6, 2020. The officer ransacked her home and seized her Falun Gong books, materials, and paper currency with Falun Gong information printed on them. Ms. Yi was taken to the police department. Her hands were cuffed behind her for three days. After suffering from torture and interrogation, she was imprisoned in the Liaoyuan City Detention Center. Her family was notified by the Longshan District Court that she would be tried on November 9, 2020.

25. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Huang Jingjie Harassed

Huang Jingjie (gender unknown) received a call at work from community Communist Party secretary Zhang Chunkui after 4 p.m. on November 4, 2020. Zhang ordered Huang to come to the community office and sign three statements. Huang refused. After 5 p.m., Zhang and others went to Huang’s work unit and demanded that Huang sign the statements. Huang still refused. They asked for Huang’s identification card. Huang replied that he was not carrying it.

Huang received two harassing calls the next day, November 5.

26. [Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Liao Jixian Harassed

Mr Liao Jixian was asked for his identification card and picture by Communist Party members in the name of a residence registration check in September, 2020.

27. [Jingzhou City, Hubei Province] Ms. Deng Tianyu Detained

Ms. Deng Tianyu was transferred from Shishou City to the Jinzhou District No. 1 Detention Center on the evening of November 4, 2020.

28. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Tang Xiuli was harassed at home by agents from Lingzi Town government and Nanpo Village around October 20, 2020. They tried to force her to go to a brainwashing center. Ms. Tang did not comply. She fled home to avoid further persecution.

Agents from Nanpo Village came to Ms. Sun Xiuli’s home, and told her and her family that she needed to go to the town government and sign a paper, then she could come home. Ms. Sun went to the town government with them. After she signed, she was taken to a brainwashing center. Agents from the town and village asked her to go to brainwashing center again several days later, and said that they would be paid 1,000 yuan for her work absence. Ms. Sun and her family knew they were lying again and did not comply. But Ms. Sun had to flee home to avoid being persecuted.

Practitioner Gao (gender unknown) of Zichuan District was taken to the Banyang Villa Brainwashing Center. Gao did not comply, refused to sign any paper, and was released the same day.

Several practitioners of Wangcun Town were held at the Banyang Villa Brainwashing Center.
