My Thoughts on the Current Situation

(Minghui.org) After the Minghui editorial and Master’s new poem “On the General Election,” I, like many others, came to realize that I had shortcomings in regard to understanding the current situation. My initial feeling when I first saw the article was also like many others, in that it felt like this time it was different. It felt like a green light was lit to go ahead and act.

However, stepping forward and adjusting my understanding, I realized that this guidance was not any different than before. Master Li (Falun Dafa's founder) has told us repeatedly that if we all acted together to eliminate the old forces’ evil, it would be eliminated in its entirety quickly. This kind of thing was communicated very early on in the Fa-rectification period.

Additionally, there is the real issue of putting our hopes in ordinary people to bring an end to this affair. This has not changed, and we should not be relying on ordinary people in this regard. It is Master and Dafa practitioners saving people. It is just that the recent article has helped me to be very clear on going ahead and eliminating everything that is damaging this effort, so that what is left to occur in human society is not hindered and losses are prevented. This is part of saving people. What is left is only the righteous plan.

Master tells the story of the possessed qigong master:

“Because he always committed bad deeds and interfered with my teaching of Dafa, I then eliminated him completely.” (Zhuan Falun, The Fifth Lecture)

Nothing has changed. In this case, we should not be putting our hopes in ordinary people, nor should we worry that eliminating damaging rotten demons is somehow that attachment. We should absolutely be clear that if there are things that damage and interfere with the process, that is interfering with saving people, and we should just act immediately to clear it out.

There is another factor that I enlightened to during this time while sending righteous thoughts. It is related to the fact that Master has often been restrained in helping us so that more old force beings do not feel the need to step in and cause trouble under the guise of things being too easy for us, which would, in turn, cause even more losses if those beings had to also be weeded out. If we act on our own, close our gaps, and clear these things out, Master isn’t put in this quandary, as the issue of carrying us along doesn’t arise and losses are minimized. When all of this began, we felt small and needed Master’s reassurance and significant guidance to even confront the evil.

However, in Zhuan Falun Master says,

“My fashen will protect you until you are able to protect yourself. At that time, you will cultivate in Beyond-Triple-World-Fa, and you will have already achieved the Tao.” (Zhuan Falun, The Third Lecture)

Part of what I enlightened to from “On the General Election” is that we are in fact able to act on our own and protect ourselves. Master has spoken on this many times. Masters says,

“Do you realize something? My Dafa disciples, your righteous thoughts do have an effect. And the combined effect of each of you together is powerful beyond compare. The reason you can’t achieve such an effect is that your faith is lacking, and your righteous thoughts aren’t strong enough. With so many Dafa disciples around the globe sending righteous thoughts at the same time, 100 million plus Dafa disciples sending righteous thoughts together at the same time globally, would that not be terrifying to the evil and the old forces? To the gods, it would be a truly magnificent sight. What power! Even with just one Dafa disciple, if your righteous thoughts are strong, the power is enough to split a mountain—just one thought will do it. Under the illusion here, you cannot perceive your own power, but that’s not of great consequence.” (“What is a Dafa Disciple”)

We have matured and know what to do. It is my understanding that we are incomparably more powerful than those old forces. Even if they think that they should take advantage of our gaps, they shouldn’t. They should not be acknowledged and should just be weeded out, so all that is left is the righteous plan without interference. Gaps still need to be filled through Fa-study, and there is a lot of truth clarification I need to do. I felt a strong sense in Master's election poem that this was a colossal nudge—much like a graduate being told by their professor before taking on their real job. My feeling was: “You know what to do. You are fully capable. Stop wondering if you are ready and just go do what needs to be done wherever it is needed. Finish this.”
