1. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Yu Aili’s Case Brought to Court

Ms. Yu Aili was arrested by Feng Yongxin, head of the Erdao District Domestic Security Division, and Li Wenyuan, an officer from the Balipu Police Station, on July 15, 2020. She was indicted by the Chaoyang District Procuratorate on July 31. Her case was brought to the court in early October 2020.

2. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Zhang Miao Sentenced to Prison

Mr. Zhang Miao was arrested by officers from the Dutou Police Station, Zhongshan City, on April 17, 2020. He is being held in the Nanqu Detention Center, Zhongshan City. He was given a three-and-a-half-year prison term by the Zhongshan City Court in recent days.

3. [Qitaihe City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Wu Guirong Passes Away Amid Harassment and Intimidation

Ms. Wu Guirong, 81, passed away on October 13, 2020.

Two people from Xinghe Community, Xinxing District, went to her home on the morning of October 9, 2020. They asked her and her daughter Ms. Wang Xiulan to sign guarantee statements renouncing Falun Gong. Ms. Wu was old and had poor hearing, so she ignored those two people. Her son-in-law signed a statement for her. Around that time police officers came twice for harassment.

Consecutive visits by the community personnel and police officers shocked Ms. Wu. She became nervous. Not long after these people left, she suddenly lay down in the bed, was out of breath, and then passed out. Her family immediately called 120 to take her to the hospital, where she was taken to the ICU right away for rescue. Throughout nearly four days of rescue, she never opened her eyes. She died at noon on October 13.

4. [Shifang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Li Yan Harassed

Ms. Li Yan, 56, received a phone call from the Zaojiao Town Government on October 11, 2020. She was ordered to go to the town government. The officials also threatened her family's careers and education prospects.

5. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Zhou Xiuhua Released on Bail

Over 20 plainclothes officers broke into Ms. Zhou Xiuhua’s home in Wujiashan Sub-district, Dongxihu District, and ransacked the place at around 6:00 a.m. on July 15, 2020. They confiscated Falun Dafa books, photos of the founder of Falun Gong, a printer, cash, and keys.

Ms. Zhou, in her 70s, and her non-practitioner husband were taken to the local police station. The couple was released the next day. The police also asked Ms. Zhou to “check in” at the police station every week, and they have processed paperwork indicating that she was released on bail for one year.

6. [Tianjin] Ms. Chen Xueling Harassed

Personnel from Dagu Sub-district and Shengyuan Neighborhood Committee in the Binhai New Area went to Ms. Chen Xueling’s home and harassed her on October 15, 2020. They came to her home before, and asked her to sign the three statements. She did not cooperate with them, and told them the facts about Falun Gong.

7. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Several Practitioners Harassed

Liu Yanbin, Party secretary of Shuangsheng Village, Zhaoyuan Town, Zhaoyuan County, together with the director of the Zhaoyuan Town Police Station and his subordinates, coaxed and coerced local Falun Gong practitioners to give up their belief.

Those who have been harassed include Ms. Cong Chunjuan, Mr. Feng Jinming, Mr. Feng Jinbao, Ms. Sun Shuxian, and Mr. Zhang Hongwei.

Zhang Lin, an officer from the Dongguang Police Department, called Ms. Xu’s children and coaxed them to persuade their mother to sign a guarantee statement renouncing her faith in Falun Gong. He also threatened that failure to sign would adversely impact her children’s work.

8. [Liaocheng City, Shandong Province] Several Practitioners Arrested

Officers from the Dongchangfu District Police Department broke into Ms. Hua Lipin’s home at around 9:00 p.m. on October 16, 2020.

They arrested Ms. Hua Liqin, her husband, Ms. Chen Jun, Ms. Sun Xiu’e, Ms. Li Guihua, and another practitioner Xu (gender unknown). They ransacked several practitioners’ homes, and confiscated Falun Dafa books and printed materials. Ms. Li and Xu were released that evening.

9. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Three Practitioners Detained

Ms. Li Mingfang and Ms. Zhang Fengyun were arrested by officers from the Dongli Police Station, Qiaoxi District, on October 13, 2020. They were talking to people about Falun Gong when they ran into plainclothes officers from the Qiaoxi District Domestic Security Division.

Female practitioner Xiaojing was arrested near the police station at around 6:00 p.m. on October 13, 2020. Her home was ransacked, and Falun Dafa books were confiscated. The three practitioners have been held in the Shijiazhuang City No. 2 Detention Center.

10. [Yi County, Hebei Province] Four Practitioners’ Cases Turned Over to Procuratorate

Ms. Zheng Wenchao and Ms. Gan Yuefeng were arrested by Jing Mingzhong, director of the Yi County Police Station, on May 19, 2020. Mr. Gao Xiaoxiong and Ms. Hu Shenjia were also arrested that day. Ms. Zheng and Ms. Hu have been under residential surveillance since they returned home.

The Yi County Police Department turned over Ms. Zheng and Ms. Hu’s cases to the Zhuozhou City Procuratorate in September 2020.

The Procuratorate summoned Ms. Zheng and Ms. Hu to take written notes on September 28. Under the pressure of persecution, the two practitioners have stayed away from their homes.

Ms. Gan and Mr. Gao’s cases were also turned over to the Procuratorate in early October. Ms. Gan has been held in the Baoding Detention Center, and Mr. Gao in the Yi County Detention Center.

11. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Yin Limei Harassed

Zhang Fengcai, Party secretary of the Shulan Experimental Middle School, Qiu Zesheng, vice principal, Yin Qingfeng, director, and other people took three statements, with Ms. Yin Limei’s name printed on it, and asked her to press her fingerprints, which she rejected. Two people stepped forward and grabbed her hands in order to force her to fingerprint the statements.

12. [Liaocheng City, Shandong Province] Several Practitioners Harassed

The Dongchangfu District Political and Legal Affairs Committee and the Comprehensive Management Office personnel harassed Ms. Shi and her family, which resulted in conflict between her husband and her, leading to the divorce in September 2020.

They also harassed Ms. Lu, Ms. Xing, and Ms. Li in October 2020.

13. [Binzhou City, Shandong Province] Three Practitioners Taken Into Custody

Ms. Wang Yuhua, Mr. Liu Weidong, and Ms. Liu Shufeng were reported to the police while they were distributing Falun Gong informational DVDs in Lihemu Village on September 30, 2020. They were arrested by officers from the Chengguan Police Department, Huimin County, and held in the Zhanhua Detention Center.

Mr. Liu was sent home due to fever on October 2.

14. [Tianjin] Ms. Xu Haitang Officially Arrested

Ms. Xu Haitang in Tanggu District was arrested by officers from the Yujiapu Police Station when distributing Falun Gong materials in March 2020. She was released on bail for one year. She was officially arrested in late September. She is being held in the Hangu Detention Center.

15. [Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] Ms. Li Guiluan Continuously Harassed

Sub-district, community, and the police station personnel pried the lock and broke into 80-year-old Ms. Li Guiluan’s home on September 21, 2020. They confiscated a printer.

They continued to harass Ms. Li almost every day, and also called, intimidated, and harassed her daughter, son-in-law, and grandson, who worked in Shanghai.

These people also went directly to Shanghai and asked her daughter to meet with them. The daughter rejected their demand on the phone. They also called to harass her granddaughter, who is daughter of practitioner Ms. Zhou Wei.

They are still continuing the harassment of Ms. Li, forcing her to press her fingerprints, and asking her to sign paperwork, which she has rejected.

16. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Wang Shubin Held in Detention Center

Mr. Wang Shubin in Dongguo Town, Panshan County, was arrested by officers from the Panshan County Police Department and the Domestic Security Division in early September 2020. He was held in the Panjin City Detention Center.

17. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Zhou Cui’e Abused in Detention Center

Ms. Zhou Cui’e, 80, in Dongxihu District, was taken to the Wuhan City No. 1 Detention Center on February 25, 2019.

She was severely persecuted, resulting in incontinence, and had been detained in the Ankang Hospital around February 2020. Her current whereabouts are unknown.

18. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Teng Yuguo Detained

Mr. Teng Yuguo in Zhuer Village, Dadong District, was arrested by officers from the Dadong Police Department on October 14, 2020. He is being held in the Dadong Detention Center.

19. [Tai’an City, Shandong Province] Mr. Wang Yuquan Arrested

Mr. Wang Yuquan, 72, was reported to police while he was distributing Falun Gong informational desktop calendars at the Shankou farmers market on the morning of October 12, 2020.

More than ten officers jumped over the wall and broke into his home after he returned home. They confiscated Falun Dafa books and two boxes of calendars. Mr. Wang was taken to the police station for interrogation, and released that afternoon.

20. [Dachang County, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Guizhen and Ms. Yang Shufang Detained

Ms. Zhang Guizhen and Ms. Yang Shufang, 68, from Chenfu Town, were reported to police while they distributed Falun Gong informational booklets and calendars in Mafangding Village, Qianwang Town, Xianghe County, on the afternoon of October 10, 2020. They were arrested by officers from the Qianwang Town Police Station.

The officers confiscated booklets and calendars from Ms. Yang’s home. Both practitioners were placed under administrative detention for 15 days. Ms. Yang’s detention term was to be served at home for health reasons. Ms. Zhang is being held in the Xianghe County Detention Center.

21. [Chongqing] Ms. Ma Yixian Harassed

Mei Baichuan, a Xiejiawan Community staff member in Jiulongpo District, went again to Ms. Ma Yixian’s home and harassed her on October 16, 2020. This time they asked her read out loud the manuscript they had prepared, which she rejected.

Mei also threatened that if she did not cooperate, they would report it to the superior and come to her home every day.

22. [Hengshui City, Hebei Province] Ms. Sun Xiuliang Harassed

Staff members from the Dengzhuang Township Government and the Liuzhong Village Committee went to Ms. Sun Xiuliang’s home in recent days.

They confiscated Falun Dafa books, paper cuttings on the wall, and a horizontally inscribed board with three words “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.” They forced her to give up practicing Falun Dafa, and extorted 6,000 yuan in cash.
