(Minghui.org) I have always believed in Falun Dafa and Master even before I began practicing because I witnessed the positive changes in my wife. She had all kinds of medical issues such as back pain, fluid retention caused by kidney problems and continuing gynecological issues. She tried every treatment and spent lots of money yet her health continued to deteriorate. But all that changed when she started practicing Falun Dafa. In less than twenty days, all her illnesses disappeared and she was like a new person.
Falun Dafa’s Master saved my wife! I witnessed with my own eyes the miraculous powers of Dafa. My wife wanted me to practice because I also had many medical issues. I suffered from chronic migraine headaches, and even caught colds in the summer. I always had painkillers on hand to ease one symptom or another. My bad habits of smoking, drinking and playing mahjong had also taken a toll on me. I was hesitant to take up the practice because I could not see myself meeting the requirements for a Dafa practitioner but I had great respect for Dafa and Master.
I always carried the little Falun Dafa keepsake that says, “Falun Dafa is great! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is great!” I frequently recited these words. Perhaps because I greatly respected Master he looked after me. One time, I was sick with the flu. My entire body ached and I had a fever. My wife had me listen to the recordings of Master’s lectures. After listening to them for three days, all my symptoms went away. That time, I didn’t take any medicine. That was the last time I had the flu. I’m grateful to Master from the bottom of my heart.
On July 20, 1999, the former head of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) launched the persecution against Falun Dafa and practitioners. Master was slandered in every media. I did not believe any of the lies spread by the CCP because my wife was a living testament to the benevolence of Dafa and I had also benefited from it. I told everyone I met not to believe any of the rubbish on television because it was all lies. I knew that the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance were righteous and Falun Dafa was great.
I would like to share with you some of the amazing experiences I’ve had.
Master Helped Me Overcome Sickness
One morning in July 2007, my stomach ached and felt bloated. I had trouble breathing. As I lay in bed sweat poured down my face. I hadn’t begun practicing Falun Dafa yet. My wife said, “You can go to the hospital if you can’t take it. Or you can trust in Master. I think Master is cleansing your body because everyone in this family benefits from my being a practitioner.” I had to make a decision - I chose to place my trust in Dafa and Master. I listened to Master’s lectures. My wife also asked a fellow practitioner to come to our house and send forth righteous thoughts for me. On the third day, I made a full recovery. All the illness symptoms and pain were gone. I was overjoyed! Thank you Master!
Full Recovery After a Horrific Motorbike Accident
Around October 2007, I rode my motorbike to my home town. Riding on a single-lane motorway, I was hit by a four-wheel-drive vehicle from behind. I was thrown high in the air and landed on the ground. As I lay there, my head felt sore and dizzy, with stabbing pains to my shoulders and back. My older brother who followed me in another motorbike stopped and called the police and an ambulance. A CT scan at the hospital showed I had some serious injuries: A concussion, a torn eyelid, a broken left collarbone, a broken left elbow joint, and a crushed left wrist bone. The most serious injury was the fractures in my third and fourth vertebrae. The driver who hit me had a brother who was the deputy director at the hospital. They discussed my situation with other medical specialists. The recommendation they made was not to operate on me because the risk of paralysis in my lower body was too great. I had to be immobilized in bed for three months before I could move.
My family and friends were very worried. Practitioners also came to visit and studied the Fa with me. I kept repeating in my head, “Falun Dafa is great! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is great!” On the 38th day after the accident, I was able to get out of bed with my wife’s help. I had no strength but I put my faith in Master and persevered. My doctor warned me about walking at this early stage for fear of doing more damage to my spinal cord. To allay his fears, my wife told him about the amazing powers of Dafa and gave him a DVD with information about Falun Dafa and practitioners’ stories. The doctor found it amazing.
When I came home from the hospital, guided by my wife, I began doing the Falun Dafa exercises and studying the Fa. I soon began truly practicing Falun Dafa. At first, I could barely move my left arm. I could not bend it due to the 10cm steel pin in place. I couldn’t even feed myself. The pain in my collarbone and back was excruciating. I persevered with studying the Fa and doing the exercises. Within six months I was back to normal and back to riding my motorbike again. Dafa is just incredible! Master gave me a second chance in life! As I write this I cannot hold back my tears. Thank you Revered Master!
Master Helped Me Avoid a Car Accident
After I recovered, I helped my wife with her taxi. I took every opportunity to distribute truth-clarification materials such as DVDs and calendars, and used money which had information about Dafa printed on it. One day, I was driving on the motorway heading into town. At a fork in the road, a three-wheeled vehicle in front of me suddenly made a left turn. To avoid crashing into it I swung my steering wheel to the left so that my car headed straight towards the embankment which fell off to a steep slope. At that very second, I spotted three boulders next to the road and I steered towards them. Hitting the boulders gave me time to steer my car back onto the road. When I got out of my car to look at the damage, I noticed that these boulders were the only ones on the road as far as the eye could see. I realized that was how Master saved me from harm. My angry passengers wanted to yell at the other driver but I stopped them. I told them it was an accident and the important thing was that no one was hurt.
Severe Condition Disappears in Ten Days
I used to suffer from both internal and external hemorrhoids which did not completely go away even after I underwent a medical procedure twice. In the summer of 2018, my condition worsened; one hemorrhoid was the size of a tennis ball. I could neither sit nor stand but had to lay on my side with a pillow between my legs. I refused to treat it like a sickness; I knew Master was cleansing my body. Even though I couldn’t do the exercises I continued to study the Fa every day. The hemorrhoids shrunk and disappeared in ten days and I was fine again. That’s how incredible Dafa is.
In 2015, my wife and I filed criminal complaints against the CCP head who initiated the persecution. Since we used our real names in our letters, the authorities kept harassing us - trying to take photos of us and make us sign documents. We embraced each interaction as opportunities to meet the provincial, town officials and the police so that we could clarify the truth about Dafa. After we talked to them, they told us to practice at home, and stopped bothering us. We did not have to sign or agree to anything.
I have so many incredible tales from my cultivation journey that I cannot write them all down!
