(Minghui.org) Due to the coronavirus, the villages and residential areas around Beijing were recently placed on lockdown. Signs like, “No Entry for Non-Residents” are posted outside the gates, which are monitored by security guards.
I didn’t know how I'd go inside and distribute truth-clarification materials.
Yet I was determined to clarify the truth to people. When I went to one village, several entrances were blocked. Only two gates were open. Five security guards in red jackets were posted outside one gate. I noticed that one was making a phone call. I wasn’t worried, and I walked through the barricade. No one stopped me.
Another day, I went to a residential area with a fellow practitioner. Two security guards in red jackets were watching the gate. An elderly man on a tricycle drove through the gate. I noticed that he wasn’t wearing a mask. The security guards didn’t stop him, and in fact one said hello to him. When the other practitioner and I walked inside no one even looked at us.
I went to another residential area the other day. Four security guards were posted there. One was taking people's temperatures. I followed a family of three to the gate and extended my arm to have my temperature taken. A guard said, “Done” after he took my temperature. I went inside the area without any problem.
I recently distributed about 200 copies of truth-clarification materials. I felt it was quite safe. Everyone wears masks and the security guards don’t dare ask people to remove them, so they aren't able to determine who isn't a resident. They can’t recognize the person even on security cameras. It's actually safer to distribute materials now.
Many practitioners might think it's difficult to enter a village or a residential area. But that hasn't been my experience. The security guards might take your temperature or ask for your address or your mobile number, but they don't cross check it.
I hope that more practitioners will try their best to step out and distribute truth-clarifying materials. This is a crucial moment to save more people. People more easily accept the truth and want to be saved. When areas were first locked down, many practitioners didn’t know what to do – so I'm sharing what I did with you.
Please don't let anxiety or fear make you stay home. Step out, use your wisdom and save the people you are supposed to save.
“I've Been Waiting for This!”
By a Falun Dafa practitioner in Hebei Province, China
Before the coronavirus even turned into an epidemic, people began panicking. Those who lived outside my village were forbidden to enter. All entrances to the village were blocked, except for one gate. Security guards were stationed at the gate. People had their temperatures taken by the guards. They had to register when they went in or out. No one is allowed to gather or visit each other. When people leave their homes, they have to wear masks. The once bustling streets have become deserted.
The dire situation showed us practitioners that it is now urgent to save sentient beings. We left the village on bicycles through little paths. We went out to save sentient beings during the Chinese New Year holiday.
One warm afternoon, we got on our bicycles and went out to save people. We weren't able to enter a particular village, so we looked for people in the fields. We saw two elderly people sitting outside their home. We gave them truth-clarification materials and told them how to keep safe during the epidemic. One of them asked for more pamphlets. I gave him a little keepsake with the phrases, “Falun Dafa is good” and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” printed on it. He smiled and said, “I've been waiting for this!”
He said he hadn’t join the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) or any of its organizations. We told him to remember the two phrases and he would be blessed.
We went to another village and met an elderly man. He already knew the truth about Falun Dafa and the persecution. I gave him a copy of the latest Minghui Weekly and asked him to pass it around after he read it. He asked if we had any DVDs. The other practitioner found one in her bag. He said he would pass it around after he watched it.
He encouraged us to go inside the village. He said, “You can enter because the security guards don’t watch the gate closely.”
We told him we were worried. “It doesn’t matter,” he said. “You are saving people.”
Thank you Master for your benevolent arrangements!
