1. [Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province] Mr. Zhu Zuoxin Sentenced to Prison

Mr. Zhu Zuoxin was sentenced to three years and three months in prison by the Wucheng District Court on January 8, 2020.

2. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Yuan Suxin Taken to Prison

Ms. Yuan Suxin was arrested by officers from Renminguangchang Police Station on February 26, 2019, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong in the Nanshi residential area, Xigang District. Her home was ransacked.

Ms. Yuan was sentenced to an 18-month prison term by the Xigang Court and taken to Liaoning Women’s Prison on January 7, 2020.

3. [Suizhong County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhao Huanzhen Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Zhao Huanzhen was arrested on May 19, 2019, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was sentenced to an 18-month prison term on September 10.

Ms. Zhao is being held in Suizhong Detention Center.

4. [Tianjin] Mr. Hu Donglan and Mr. Li Wanbin Detained

Mr. Hu Donglan and Mr. Li Wanbin from Hangu, Binhai District were arrested by officers from Hangu Police Station in late December 2019, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. They are being held in Hangu Detention Center.

5. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Yu Chunsheng Arrested

Mr. Yu Chunsheng was arrested by officers from Shenyangbeizhan Police Station on June 19, 2019. His whereabouts are unknown.

6. [Beijing] Ms. Zhang Yafen Arrested

Fengtai District resident Ms. Zhang Yafen was arrested by officers from Taipingqiao Police Station on the morning of January 9, 2020. She is being held in custody.

7. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Fan Lihong Arrested

Ms. Fan Lihong was arrested by officers from Xuejiadao Police Station on the afternoon of January 15, 2020, for distributing Falun Gong fliers in the Qingdao Development District.

8. [Liupanshui City, Guizhou Province] Ms. Qi Jianhua and Ms. Wan Huaduo Arrested

Ms. Qi Jianhua and Ms. Wan Huaduo from the Liuzhi District were arrested by officers from Liuzhi Domestic Security Division on January 14, 2020, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong.

9. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Ms. Bai Youhua Arrested

Mr. Bai Youhua was arrested in September, 2019, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong.

10. [Shenzhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Meng Junai and Her Husband Arrested

Ms. Meng Junai and her husband from Shenzhou City were on vacation in Nanjing City on December 8, 2019. Nanjing police arrested them when they were taking the subway after identifying them using facial recognition technology.

They were taken to Hengshui City Detention Center. Her husband was later released after police extorted 20,000 yuan from him. Ms. Meng was released on December 27.

11. [Yinchuan City, Ningxia Province] Mr. Yang Qiaobin Detained

Mr. Yang Qiaobin was arrested and detained in late December 2019. He has since been released.

12. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Ms. Lei Xiaoyu Arrested

Ms. Lei Xiaoyu, 74, from Laiyuan County, was arrested by officers from Laiyuan Domestic Security Division on the morning of January 16, 2020, for distributing information about Falun Gong.
