(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in nine cities or counties in six provinces, where at least 52 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Thirty Three Practitioners Sentenced

The following 33 practitioners were sentenced to lengthy prison terms.

Seven years: Mr. Xia Yuanxin, Ms. Wang Fengjun, Mr. Chen Yazhou, Ms. Li Daorong, Mr. Wang Chuang, Ms. Xu Guilan, Mr. Jiang Shilin, Mr. Zhang Shude, Ms. Wen Ying, and Ms. Lai Guifang

Seven years and two months: Mr. Sun Jun

Seven years and five months: Ms. Zhang Xia

Seven and a half years: Ms. Zhang Xiaoli, Mr. Zou Hui, Ms. Zhong Shujuan, Ms. Sheng Jie, and Ms Hu Zhiqin

Eight years: Ms. Xu Meihua, Ms. Zhang Jing, Mr. Wang Weizhen, Mr. Wang Shangjie, Mr. Han Jianhai, Ms. Zhan Shuhua, Ms. Zhou Haiyan, Mr. Song Xuecun, Mr. Chen Yuerong, and Mr. Zhang Kexin

Eight and a half years: Mr. Ma Ruitian, Ms. Zhang Guimin, and Ms. Xu Yanxia

Nine years: Ms. Liu Xia

Nine and a half years: Mr. Zhang Renguang

Ten years: Ms. Liu Renqiu

2. [Tianjin] Six Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Lin Baorong was arrested by officers from the Donghai Police Station on January 28, 2020. The police confiscated computers, printers, cell phones, Falun Gong books, and other personal belongings. They also extorted 4,000 yuan from his family.

Mr. Liu Xiangyan, Ms. Zhao Xiaoxia, Mr. Xue Xizeng, Ms. Bi Shengzhi, and Ms. Zhang Huili were arrested on February 14. Their Falun Gong books, computers, printers, informational materials, and other personal belongings were confiscated.

3. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Shi Shufang Arrested

Ms. Shi Shufang, from the Jianhua District, was arrested on February 24, 2020, for posting informational stickers about the persecution of Falun Gong.

4. [Dunhua City, Jilin Province] Ms. Liu Jingping Arrested

Ms. Liu Jingping, 57, from the Dashitou Forestry Bureau, was arrested on February 18, 2020. Her home was ransacked.

5. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Three Practitioners Arrested, Another Faces Trial

Ms. Wang Yaping and Ms. Cao Caizhen were arrested by officers from the Heping District Domestic Security Division on February 23, 2020. They were taken to Maluwan Police Station.

Ms. Wang Qiuping, from the Tiexi District, was also arrested by the security division on the same day.

Mr. Liu Yuansheng is being held in Shenhe Detention Center. His case was sent to Shenyang Intermediate Court.

6. [Laizhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Cheng Meiqin and Ms. Li Zhenqian Arrested

Ms. Cheng Meiqin and Ms. Li Zhenqian were arrested by officer Ma Wentao and others from the Xiyou Police Station on Sanshandao Street on January 2, 2020, for distributing Falun Gong calendars. Their home was ransacked, and a cell phone and electric car were confiscated.

7. [Ningde City, Fujian Province] Ms. Huang Qiaoqing Arrested

Ms. Huang Qiaoqing was arrested by agents from the Jiaocheng District 610 Office, Ningde City 610 Office, and Fujian Province Public Security Department 610 Office on February 17, 2020, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong.

Mr. Sun Jianfeng was sentenced to a six-year-and-four-month prison term by the Shapotou District Court on January 15, 2020.

9. [Heihe City, Heilongjiang Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Li Guirong, from the Jiusan Land Reclamation Area, was arrested on February 6, 2020, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. His home was ransacked.

Ms. Yan Yuling was arrested for posting informational materials about Falun Gong.

Mr. Liu Qinghua was arrested for talking to people about Falun Gong. His home was ransacked, and Falun Gong books and a picture of the founder of Falun Gong were confiscated.
