1. [Mianzhu City, Sichuan Province] Eight Practitioners' Appeals Denied

Eight practitioners from Mianzhu City were sentenced to prison by the Anzhou District Court in Mianyang City on October 29, 2019.

Mr. Yang Xuncheng was given a four-year term and fined 10,000 yuan.Ms. Cai Yifeng was given a four-and-a-half-year term and fined 12,000 yuan.Ms. Yin Guangsu was given a three-and-a-half-year term and fined 8,000 yuan.Ms. Li Yongfang was given a three-and-a-half-year term and fined 8,000 yuan.Mr. Guo Yuanjun was given a three-year term and fined 6,000 yuan.Mr. Huang Bohui was given a three-year term and fined 6,000 yuan.Ms. Wan Mengrong was given a two-year term and fined 4,000 yuan.Ms. Lu Shangrong was given a two-year term and fined 4,000 yuan.

The practitioners all appealed, but the Mianyang Intermediate Court upheld the original verdicts on March 27, 2020.

2. [Shiyan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Wang Hui Detained for Nine Months

Mr. Wang Hui from Yunxi County has currently been detained for nine months in the Zhangwan Detention Center.

3. [Anqing City, Anhui Province] Ms. Yu Zhi and Ms. Dong Jinping Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Yu Zhi and Ms. Dong Jinping from Wangjiang County were tried by the Wangjiang Court on January 14, 2020. They were recently sentenced to two years and two and a half years in prison, respectively, and both practitioners were fined 10,000 yuan. They are being held in the Anqing City Detention Center.

4. [Beipiao City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Li Yihai Arrested

Mr. Li Yihai from the Donguan area was arrested by officers from the Beipiao City Domestic Security Division on April 23, 2020. His computers, printers, Falun Gong books, and other personal belongings were confiscated. The police forced his family to pay 5,000 yuan before they would release him.

5. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Lu Chunhua and two other practitioners from the Longquanyi District were arrested on the afternoon of April 10, 2020, after being reported for posting Falun Gong fliers. Their homes were ransacked. They were taken to the Yihe Police Station.

6. [Jingmen City, Hubei Province] Ms. Bai Yun and Ms. Qin Detained

Ms. Bai Yun and Ms. Qin from Jingmen City were arrested on April 23, 2020. Their homes were ransacked. They are being held in Zhongxiang City.

7. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Gong Shuliang Arrested

Mr. Gong Shuliang from Baosheng Township was arrested by officers from the Wuliugang Police Station and the Chuanshan Domestic Security Division on the morning of April 24, 2020. His Falun Gong books, a picture of the founder of Falun Gong, and Falun Gong materials were confiscated.

8. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Liang Detained

Ms. Liang from the Futian District was arrested on April 10, 2020, after she was reported for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She is being held in the Meilin Fourth Detention Center.

9. [Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Zhang Wencheng and Ms. Pan Yunxiang Facing Trial

Mr. Zhang Wencheng and his wife Ms. Pan Yunxiang are due to be tried by the Beipiao Court on April 29, 2020.

10. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Teng Yuguo Detained

Mr. Teng Yuguo from Zhuer Village in the Dadong District was arrested by officers from the Sujiatun District Domestic Security Division and the Minzhu Police Station on the morning of April 23, 2020. His home was ransacked, and personal belongings worth more than 50,000 yuan, and over 12,000 yuan in cash were confiscated.

Mr. Teng is being held in the Minzhu Police Station.

11. [Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province] Mr. Yang Shulin and Mr. Cai Baoxin Arrested

Director of the Xintang Township Health Center Mr. Yang Shulin, and the deputy mayor of Mahuiling Town Mr. Cai Baoxin were arrested by officers from the Jiujiang City Domestic Security Division. Their whereabouts are unknown.

12. [Huangshi City, Hubei Province] Ms. Wang Pingye Arrested

Ms. Wang Pingye was arrested by officers from the Huangshigang Police Department on April 28, 2020, for distributing Falun Gong fliers.

13. [Chuxiong Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province] Ms. Xu Lijuan and Ms. Ma Jinyu Detained

Ms. Xu Lijuan and Ms. Ma Jinyu have been detained for over five months. They were arrested by the Chuxiong City police on November 8, 2019. Their Falun Gong books were confiscated. They are being held in the Chuxiong Detention Center.
