(Minghui.org) The global pandemic caused by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) virus, also called coronavirus, has claimed over 400,000 lives throughout the world to date and has impacted more people’s lives with its associated economic downturn worldwide, as well as in the U.S. As layoffs are experienced in many businesses, the U.S. reached its highest unemployment numbers since the Great Depression. A number of my colleagues are exiting the company given the current business climate.
Master Li Hongzhi wrote in his most recent article that, “True Dafa disciples have higher energy and are able to destroy karma and germs; they are emissaries of salvation in these latter days, and bring their wisdom to bear upon saving people as they share truthful information related to our practice.” (“Stay Rational”)
It is important that my colleagues have heard the truth about Dafa before they leave. After I found out their names, I realized that almost all of them had little or no interaction with me.
I normally clarify the truth about Dafa to my colleagues in person so that I can tell their reactions, and it’s easier to answer questions this way. I have not clarified the truth since the stay at home order started as we all worked from home. I know that everyone in this world comes for the Fa. Thus, it is critical for me to help them fulfill their wishes to learn about Falun Dafa, also known as Falun Gong, and what is going on in China before the opportunity vanishes. After all, they are all part of Master Li’s (the founder) family. They have reincarnated many times and finally reached this critical time. They have a chance to work with a Dafa disciple.
How do I connect with them as they don’t work with me much, and how do I make it a conversation that naturally connects us? I asked Master to help create opportunities. The very next day, one of them set up a meeting with me. In the meeting she asked me a question that really is beyond my pay grade to answer. But, I know that it was arranged for by Master to listen to the truth. After taking care of the work topic, I started chatting with her about the pandemic and quickly went into the topic of Falun Gong. She was fascinated by the health benefits of Falun Gong and was shocked by the persecution in China. She asked for all the web links where she could learn about the practice.
The following week was quiet. None of the remaining colleagues contacted me. Then, it came to the last week, after which these colleagues would leave the company. I can’t wait anymore. I have to reach out. There are two of them that I never really met officially, but I have seen them in the hallway a few times. I arranged for online meetings with each of them and told them that even though we were never introduced to each other, at least I’d like to say farewell over the phone. My good wishes of peace, health, and happiness to them were well received.
We talked about the pandemic, and how it impacted our health and jobs on a personal level. I talked about the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) behavior during the past seven to eight months, from the CCP’s cover-up of the pandemic, silencing the Chinese doctors for alerting the community, hoarding PPEs (personal protection equipment) and masks, to making a huge profit later by selling them to other countries when they needed them. I continued to address the CCP’s brutality against its own people during the lockdown, lying about the death and infection numbers, and so on. I let them know that the CCP has never cared for its own people, so why did they suddenly show interest in other people? And the topic easily transitioned to the CCP’s mass killings of its own people over the 70 years of its rule, and the topic of Falun Gong.
One of my colleagues I talked to this week was a very quiet person. With the phone conversation, I have no way to see his facial expression, and I couldn’t tell his reaction was positive or negative?
That night as I studied the Fa, Master’s words in Zhuan Falun helped me understand,
“Cultivation depends on one’s own efforts, while the transformation of gong is done by one’s master. It is good enough if you have this wish. It is the master who actually does this, as you are simply unable to do it.” (Lecture One, Zhuan Falun)
I know that I just need to do my best and Master Li is taking care of all of it.
One colleague was amazed after I started talking about Falun Gong. Then, we subsequently talked about the current U.S. administration’s strategy with China in regards to the economy, intellectual property protection, military, Hong Kong, and so on.
He was puzzled why the CCP stole the whole design of the U.S. military airplane C-17m, and yet did not even change the look of it. I explained to him about the CCP culture – the government encourages people to cheat and get rich overnight without hard work.
Another colleague said that what I shared with her brightened her entire year. She said she thought that quite a number of young people today in western societies want to adopt the communist ideology. She said to me that you are much more qualified than us to let them know what communism is all about. She encouraged me to continue sharing with others, and awaken the conscience of others. She wrote to me later in an email, “It was inspiring for me to hear your story today. It is an important story, and I will tell others. Thank you for reminding everyone what freedom really means!”
This morning, another colleague from India set up a work meeting with me. Our meeting time went past his midnight time as after talking about work, we continued on topics of Falun Gong, the pandemic, and China’s negative impact on India.
This reminds me that all sentient beings want to be awakened nowadays, and are seeking out Dafa’s truth information.
