(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 14 cities or counties in eight provinces, where at least 26 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Ms. He Yunjie Imprisoned, Ms. Liu Shuya’s Situation Unknown
Ms. He Yunjie and Ms. Liu Shuya were reported to the police on May 14, 2020, for distributing Falun Gong materials. Their homes were ransacked on the afternoon of June 10, and Falun Dafa books were confiscated.
Ms. He is incarcerated in the Sanjiang Women's Prison. Ms. Liu’s situation is unknown.
2. [Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province] Three Practitioners Arrested and Released the Same Day, One Practitioner Held in Detention Center
Ms. Liu Guiying, 80, Mr. Zhang, and Ms. Xue, from the Nanjing Iron and Steel Company family quarters in the Jiangbei New Area, were arrested by several people from the Comprehensive Management Office on the afternoon of June 8, 2020, after they studied the Falun Gong teachings together.
Ms. Liu’s home was ransacked, and a computer and Falun Dafa books were confiscated. The three practitioners were released later that evening.
Ms. Zhang Yucui, in her 50s, from the same family quarters, was arrested at midnight on June 8. Her computer, printer, paper cutter, Falun Dafa books, photos of the founder of Falun Gong, and cash were confiscated. She is being held in the Nanjing City Detention Center.
3. [Qian’an City, Hebei Province] Ms. Guo Yuexia Arrested
Ms. Guo Yuexia and another practitioner were followed by two police officers on the morning of June 13, 2020, when they were talking to people about Falun Gong in the Sanli River area. Ms. Guo was arrested but the other practitioner managed to escape.
4. [Yi County, Hebei Province] Ms. Gan Yuefeng Held in Detention Center
Ms. Gan Yuefeng and another practitioner were arrested by the Yi County police on June 2, 2020. Ms. Gan’s home was ransacked, and a computer and printer were confiscated. Ms. Gan was taken to the Baoding City Detention Center. The other practitioner was released.
5. [Liangshan Prefecture, Sichuan Province] Ms. Tan Fang Arrested
Ms. Tan Fang was arrested by Domestic Security officers on June 12, 2020.
6. [Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Mr. Wang Wenhao Detained, Ms. Guo Wenyan Arrested and Released the Same Day
Mr. Wang Wenhao, in his 30s, was monitored and arrested for using WeChat in late April 2020. He was detained for over 20 days.
Ms. Guo Wenyan, in the same WeChat group, was arrested on April 29, 2020, and her home was ransacked. Her non-practitioner niece was arrested and interrogated. They were both released later that day.
7. [Beizhen City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Sun Yanshan and Ms. Qiu Wenzhen Arrested and Released
Elderly practitioners Ms. Sun Yanshan and Ms. Qiu Wenzhen were reported to the police on June 4, 2020, for talking to people about Falun Gong. They were arrested by officers from the Goubangzi Police Station, and their homes were ransacked. They have since returned home.

8. [Huainan City, Anhui Province] Ms. Fu Yuxia Arrested and Released the Same Day, Ms. Chen Hongling’s Whereabouts Unknown
Ms. Fu Yuxia and Ms. Chen Hongling from Huaijian Village, Luohe Town in the Datong District were followed and arrested on June 12, 2020, for distributing Falun Gong materials. The police ransacked their homes when no one was there, and confiscated Falun Dafa books and cell phones. Ms. Fu returned home later that day. Ms. Chen’s whereabouts are unknown.
9. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Xu Liming's Case Passed to Court, Practitioner Wang Arrested
Ms. Xu Liming from the Development Zone was arrested on September 17, 2019, and taken to the Yaojia Detention Center. She was held in the No. 9 Cell, No. 4 Ward. Her case has been turned over to the court.
A young practitioner with the last name Wang from the Baiheshanzhuang area of Lingshui Sub-district was arrested on June 15, 2020, for distributing cards with information on how to circumvent the Internet censorship. Wang’s home was ransacked.
10. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Li Changqiu Abused in Prison
Ms. Li Changqiu and her husband Mr. Zhao Banghai from the Longquanyi District were arrested in July 2014. Ms. Li was later sentenced to a seven-year prison term. She was abused in the Longquanyi Women’s Prison. Most of her teeth have fallen out leaving only a few front teeth. She can only eat liquid food and has become very thin.

11. [Shanghai] Ms. Yan Gaifeng Held in Detention Center
Ms. Yan Gaifeng was taken to the Baoshan Detention Center.
12. [Shihezi City, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region] Ms. Pan Yanchun Held in Detention Center
Ms. Pan Yanchun, 50, from the Ganjingzi District, Dalian City, Liaoning Province, was arrested in Shihezi City, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, on May 9, 2020, distributing Falun Gong materials. She is being held in the Shihezi No. 1 Detention Center.
13. [Huailai County, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhang Yu and Ms. Jia Lei Arrested
Mr. Zhang Yu from Xiaogucheng Village, Xiaonanxinbao Township, was arrested at home on the morning of June 9, 2020.
Ms. Jia Lei from Guanzhuang Village was arrested on the morning of June 9 after returning home from farming in the field. Her mother, who could not take care of herself, was there when the police arrived. They confiscated Zhuan Falun and audio players.
14. [Liupanshui City, Guizhou Province] Ms. Qi Jianhua and Ms. Wan Huaduo Sentenced to Prison
Ms. Qi Jianhua and Ms. Wan Huaduo were arrested by officers from the Liuzhi Special District Domestic Security Division in January 2020 for talking to people about Falun Gong.
Ms. Qi was sentenced to a two-year prison term. Ms. Wan was sentenced to a three-and-a-half-year prison term by the Liuzhi Special District Court.
Both practitioners are being held in the Liupanshui City No. 1 Detention Center.
