(Minghui.org) Recently, we have seen signs of escalating persecution against Falun Dafa practitioners—the so-called “Zero Out” campaign. In Guizhou Province, police claimed that attacking Falun Dafa would be their next focus since the pandemic was slowing down. I would like to share my understanding on this situation.
Master said:
“The evil beings in different dimensions are indeed very few now. So they're not able to form persecution and interference on a large scale anymore.” (“Teaching and Explaining the Fa at the Metropolitan New York Fa Conference”, Collected Fa Teachings, Vol. III)
“The evil is finished and the environment has changed, so it is even more imperative that you not let up in cultivation.” (“Greetings”, The Essentials of Diligent Progress Vol. III)
Why does the evil make such a threat? I think it is because we are slacking off. As the environment gets better, the pressure has lessened. Some of us began to take things easy. Some bought new homes, others put big effort into remodeling, and some focused on looking after their grandchildren. They do these things claiming they are being good people. But in the meantime, they have not done the three things well for several years.
A practitioner in my area spent all her time babysitting for her daughter, but she skipped all activities to clarify the truth. When the grandchild was ready to attend elementary school, the practitioner suffered a stroke and passed away.
Practitioners are humans, not gods. We all have attachments of one kind or another. But our attachments should not become an excuse for the old forces to persecute us. Every one of us should strongly negate latest police initiative.
In my opinion, we should take the following actions to oppose the persecution:
1. Spend more time studying the Fa. When time allows, we should memorize the Fa, and hand copy Dafa books.
2. Increase the intensity of sending forth righteous thoughts. For the past two years, I have been sending righteous thoughts from 6 to 7 p.m. every day.
3. Do our best to save people. We can talk to people face to face, copy and paste good articles and send to people, distribute truth-clarification flyers, write to police officers and other government officials. We can tell them the facts and encourage them to make the right choice. We should refuse to acknowledge the “Zero Out” campaign, and make a serious effort to do the three things.
4) Unconditionally look at our own problems and improve our cultivation. We should walk the path of Fa rectification without deviation. I feel that when all practitioners make our best effort to do the three things, the old forces cannot find any excuse to persecute us, and the so-called “Zero Out” campaign will fail.
