(Minghui.org) A Zhoukou City, Henan Province resident was arrested on July 17, 2020, for practicing Falun Gong, an ancient spiritual and meditation discipline that has been persecuted by the Chinese communist regime since 1999.
A group of police officers ransacked Ms. Xu Fengmei’s home and confiscated her Falun Gong books and Falun Gong related materials. The couplets on her door with a message about Falun Gong were torn off. Ms. Xu has been detained at Zhoukou Detention Center since.
This is not the first time that Ms. Xu has been targeted for her faith. Following a prior arrest on August 1, 2008, the police tied her to a tiger bench and interrogated her. Some stabbed her back with a sharp needle and slapped her in the face. Others kicked her, beat her, and rolled over her legs with a metal stick.
