(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners held a truth clarification event on Trafalgar Square in London on September 5, 2020. A Chinese student studying in Britain listened to practitioners explain the facts about the persecution and agreed to quit her membership in the Communist Youth League and Young Pioneers.

Signing the Petition to End the Persecution

Ms. Xu signed the petition to end the persecution. She talked with practitioner Lasitha, who shared his experience of practicing Falun Gong and exposed the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) 21-year-long persecution.

He talked about the CCP’s long-term imprisonment of the parents of a Chinese practitioner residing in the UK. He said that Chinese people were good people, but it was the CCP that persecuted Chinese people and damaged the Chinese culture. Xu was touched and appreciated the effort that practitioners put into such an event.

A group of people passed by, and some paused to read the information on the Dafa posters calling for help to end the persecution by the CCP and state-sanctioned organ harvesting from living practitioners. Some signed the petition. Xu thanked the practitioners again for holding such activities, “Please continue doing this good thing. Thank you.”

Withdrawal from the CCP Youth Organizations

Lasitha asked Edward, a Chinese practitioner, to explain the importance of withdrawing from the CCP.

“It is no secret that the CCP is bad, why do you stand with it?” Edward said to Xu, “Withdrawal from it will sever all relations with the Party. You will have nothing to do with the CCP’s wrong deeds.”

Xu said that she did not like the CCP and it was fine to withdraw from it. She agreed to quit her membership in the Communist Youth League and Young Pioneers by using an alias.

Sorry for Misunderstanding Falun Gong

Xu talked with the two practitioners to learn more about Falun Gong. She said she learned about the CCP’s persecution after coming to the UK. She also heard the slander published by the CCP about Falun Gong, trying to mislead the Chinese people. She felt sorry for misunderstanding Falun Gong in the past, because of the lies published by the CCP.

“As a common Chinese person, I feel sorry in my heart,” she said, “I browsed Twitter and the Internet. Some practitioners emailed me information about Falun Gong. I also viewed the photos of the persecution in Chinatown. It is inhumane. But, I did not know.”

She was shocked when she heard about the CCP’s organ harvesting from living practitioners, “Now I know. I was suspicious when I heard of it initially. I felt it was horrible. But, it is true when one looks at the numbers of organ transplants.

“Some foreigners went to China for organ matching. It is hard to match in America. But, it takes no time to find a match in China. This indicates that there is a large live organ donor bank, which includes Falun Gong practitioners.”

Xu said she knew the difference between China and the CCP, “I know you care about the Chinese, and you are patriotic. If one is truly patriotic, he can see how bad the CCP is. It always persecutes the Chinese people.”

Looking Forward to the Disintegration of the CCP

“I am not a CCP member,” Xu said, “I disliked the Party when I was an undergraduate student, because I heard some news about the injustices perpetrated by the CCP. Those wrongdoers were not brought to justice. Now I know more and understand that the CCP is completely evil.”

She said she read lots of information about the CCP’s misleading propaganda, which is deceiving the Chinese people.

“I did not dare to believe the information initially when I read it,” she said. “Because when I was in China, I felt everything was all right. What I was told is that there was no new China without the CCP. But, I heard otherwise when I came abroad.”

“The contrast is so huge. When I learned about its unimaginable wrong deeds initially, I thought those were lies and wondered why there were people who spread such misinformation.”

She accepted the practitioner’s suggestion to read the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, The Ultimate Goals of Communism, and How the Specter of Communism Is Ruling Our World.

Xu said that she awakened when hearing the truth, which also made her feel frustrated, as having a conscience is not allowed in the CCP controlled China. The practitioner reminded her that the CCP would be disintegrated by Heaven.

“Thank you, I hope that good is rewarded and evil meets retribution,” she said, “I know that Heaven is disintegrating the CCP.”
