(Minghui.org) I began practicing Falun Dafa in 1997. Over the past twenty years of cultivation, I have tried to be a qualified practitioner by following Master’s teachings.
Master said in a recent article:
“You are not here to change history, but rather, to save people at this most dangerous time in history, by raising awareness, persuading people to withdraw from China’s three major communist organizations, encouraging people to sincerely say the magic words, and so on.” (“Stay Rational,” Team Yellow Translation)
From this excerpt, I enlightened to the idea that clarifying the truth of Falun Dafa is the most important thing for us to do.
Otherwise, sentient beings won’t understand the meaning behind quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations, so they won’t have a promising future. And even less will they know the effects of reciting “Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”
My fellow practitioners and I shared our understandings with each other.
I asked a fellow practitioner to buy 30 MP5 players and 200 MP3 players. I loaded truth-clarification materials onto the media players. After I spoke with people about Falun Dafa, I gave them one of these media players so that they could check the content in detail. The results are very good.
My Relative Survives a Car Accident
A relative of mine watched the videos on the media player.
He was riding his electric bike one day, selling peaches, when a car suddenly came into traffic, going in the wrong direction. My relative was forced between two other vehicles to avoid the car. The front fork of his electric bike was damaged and he was knocked to the ground, but otherwise, he was fine.
This accident was the driver’s fault for driving in the wrong direction. The driver rushed out of the car and asked my relative if he was okay.
My relative dusted himself off and said, “I’m fine. My arm is a bit bruised, but no big deal. But the front fork of my electric bike was broken. Could you fix that for me?”
He did not blackmail the driver for money, a practice which is commonplace in today's China.
He told me about the incident afterwards and said, “I watched the stories on the MP5 player you gave me. I know what to do. Master Li protected me. Thank you!”
Understanding the CCP’s Inhuman Deeds
A man on the open market who was selling cloth had quit the CCP before, but he said he did not believe the CCP would harvest organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. I gave him a MP5 player.
After he watched the videos, he said, “The Communist Party is evil. No wonder there are so many disasters. I need to hurry up and tell my relatives to withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations, and stay away from this evil party.”
Although our town is not big, many customers from other areas come to our markets to buy things, as the goods are much cheaper here. We wrote truth-clarification messages on paper currency to tell the public the facts about of Falun Dafa. It has been very effective.
Treasuring Truth-Clarification Bills
Our village was also locked down during the pandemic. This did not move me. I studied the Fa and did the exercises every day. I then went out to tell people the truth about Falun Dafa at the markets and the entrance to our village, just like before.
I sent forth righteous thoughts before I went out. I shopped using bills that had truth-clarification messages printed on them.
Once when I was paying at the cashier, a person next to me noticed the messages on the money. He went to wait for me outside.
“Why is there writing on your money?” he asked.
I showed him the messages on the money, and I told him the truth of Falun Dafa and how quitting the CCP can give people a better future. He was very happy to hear this and quit the CCP right there. He also traded in a 20 yuan bill for one with truth-clarification messages on it.
“I will keep this to protect my home,” he said.
My Uncle Was Moved
Master said,
“What everyday people want is personal gain and how to live well and comfortably. Our practitioners are not this way, but exactly the opposite. We do not seek what everyday people want. Instead, what we get is something everyday people cannot obtain—even if they want to—except through cultivation.” (Lecture Four, Zhuan Falun)
We renovated our home one year. I paid my uncle to help us to install aluminum doors and windows. However, I was surprised to find later on that the quality did not match the money we paid. Even later, I learned that my uncle and his construction workers did not buy the windows and doors I asked for. They pocketed several thousand yuan from this.
My heart was very unsettled when I first learned of this. But I remembered that I was a Falun Dafa practitioner, and needed to look inward when things happened. I kept looking for my problems based on the Fa principles. I decided to treat them with tolerance and did not give them a hard time.
I found another worker to install new aluminum doors and windows. I used this opportunity to help my uncle understand the truth about Falun Dafa. With a sincere heart, I went to visit him on holidays as before.
Finally, he was touched. He truly realized that Dafa practitioners are good people and was willing to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations.
Master said,
“The ideas and theories of this world cannot lead to spiritual perfection of any sort, and the ways that people live and act in this world do not accord with how beings really are in the universe. The ultimate reason you are human is to learn Dafa. Don’t let the madness and confusion of this world affect you. Cultivate with the heart you once had, and spiritual perfection is certain! May you grow ever more diligent as you approach the end!” (“To the Experience-Sharing Conference in Taiwan”, Team Yellow Translation)
