Amazing Encounter: Elderly Lady Gave Me Money to Tell More People About Dafa

(Minghui.org) My father and I began Falun Dafa cultivation in 1998. It would have been very difficult for me to make it to today without Master Li's protection over the past 20 years. I am greatly indebted to Master.

I was able to meet with retired government officials because my father was one of the retirees. I felt it was a good opportunity to save people. I believe that Master arranged the opportunities and wanted me to do this work. Thus, I took the time to visit retirees and clarify the truth about Falun Dafa.

Some of the retired people had been badly poisoned by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) propaganda about Falun Dafa. It took patience and kindness to clarify the truth, and it could not be rushed. I visited them repeatedly for several years. With the benevolence and sincerity bestowed by Master, I finally managed to save some of those seniors from their ties to the evil Party and awakened their conscience.

The people I met included the former mayor, officials in government departments, the president of the city Party school, the head of the city courthouse, the head of the economic court, and some of my father’s former colleagues. They all quit the CCP and its youth organizations, choosing a new life.

One day in the summer of 2019, I went out to talk with people about Falun Dafa. I sent righteous thoughts while riding my bike. I saw an elderly lady sitting on a bench on the side of a wide street. I got off my bike and greeted her. She asked me to take a seat. I thanked her and sat down.

She asked me how old I was. I told her I was 78. She told me she was 73. She said, “Your face is rosy and fair. You are in great shape.”

I said, “I practice Falun Dafa. I haven’t taken a pill or needed any kind of medication during the past 20 years, but I was infamous for the amount of medication I needed when I was working. Now I have no illnesses whatsoever. That saves the government from having to pay medical expenses for me. Isn’t that wonderful?” She said, “Sure, sure.”

I said: “Our Teacher, Li Hongzhi, told us to be a good person wherever we are, be considerate of others needs at all times, and always follow the principles of ‘Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance’ in our actions.” She enthusiastically said, “You guys are wonderful. Society would be great if all people were like you.”

I said, “You are exactly right. You have a predestined relationship with Dafa. Let me give you an amulet. You will be blessed.” She reverently took the amulet, and following my instruction, recited “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good. Falun Dafa is good.”

She told me that she had never gone to school or joined any CCP organizations, and that it was Master Li who told her to wait for me at the spot where she was sitting.

I talked with her about Falun Dafa and the persecution in the fall of 2019. I told her that former CCP leader Jiang Zemin launched the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners out of jealousy. The woman said she approved of the Falun Dafa principles.

I met her again this past June. She told me that when she was riding her tricycle the other day, she was hit by a car and fell to the ground. The driver was scared and took his time to check on her, but she was unscathed. She thought it was Master Li, the founder and teacher of Falun Dafa, who protected her.

She took out a 100-yuan bill ($15.50) and told me to use the money to make amulets. I declined and told her that Master wanted us to save people—we can give but cannot take. She insisted, saying, “Teacher Li protected me. You have to take this money to make more amulets and awaken the conscience of more people. I will not let you go until you take it.” I was moved by her sincerity and accepted the money.

Time is short for us Dafa practitioners. Master bears a huge burden as he has extended the time for us to cultivate ourselves well and save more people. I will definitely follow Master’s requirements, do the three things well, cultivate well, and save more people.
