(Minghui.org) On the occasion of the New Year, I wanted to share my experiences of clarifying the truth to people in China through making phone calls on a telephone-calling platform. This is a report to Master and a sharing with fellow practitioners. Writing it all down will hopefully also motivate me to not slack off in my efforts to clarify the truth and save sentient beings. 

I started making phone calls in April 2020. At first, I found it very easy to make calls. As long as the call was picked up, all I needed do is play the truth-clarifying audio. At that time, at least 1,000 calls could be made in one month. The pick-up rate was also quite high. 

However, the pick-up rate has dropped more and more in recent months. Even though the calls were picked up, very few connections lasted more than a minute. Some calls could not be connected at all. Also, some people would hang up once they realized the call was pre-recorded. 

I was worried. I spent a lot of time on this each day, but did many people really hear the truth? I pondered about how to deliver the message in a few seconds and pass on the truth. All I thought about was how to do better. My goal was to pass on the most important elements of the truth in the least possible time. 

I started to listen to the truth-clarifying audio again and again. In the meantime, I found the latest daily news audio from the Minghui website. I recreated them as separate snippets by putting the most important ones at the beginning so people could hear the truth as quickly as possible. I made audios with the most pertinent information regarding withdrawal from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), how Falun Gong has spread throughout the world, and the truth about Marxism. 

I also recorded the song of “Falun Dafa is Good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!” In this way, people could listen to these important words even if they only stayed on the phone for less than 30 seconds. I hoped the listener could get the truth from the song. 

I chose different audio snippets for different people. When calling police stations, I would play the audio snippets with a message about the U.S. State Department sanctioning a Chinese police chief in Xiamen, a city in China, for his involvement in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners for their faith. Most police officers would listen to the audio all the way to the end. This truth allowed them to understand that punishment is not only for the upper management, but also for those who executed the vicious orders of the persecution. This audio let them know that everything they did in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners and violating human rights was recorded and must be answered for. 

As I got more and more truth-clarification materials, I also started talking directly to people in addition to playing pre-recorded audio materials. Gradually I overcame my anxiety of talking to strangers. Actually, I felt closer to those whom I clarified the truth to by talking directly. 

During calls I deeply felt the helplessness of the general public under the control of the vicious CCP. Once, after I clarified the truth to an officer of a political and legal affairs committee, I told him I could help him withdraw from the CCP. He said, “Ok, thank you.” Then he lowered his voice, told me not to call his number again, and quickly hung up. I didn’t have time to react. I wanted to redial and talk to him further, however, the anxiety and fear in his voice disturbed me.

Another time, after helping a member of a medical staff withdraw from the CCP, I asked him to remember the special words, “Falun Dafa is Good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!” I repeated the words twice and asked whether he got it. Suddenly, he raised his voice and replied, “I can hear you, I can hear you.” I could hear someone around him talking at that moment. Maybe he was afraid to be asked what he remembered, so he didn’t answer my question directly. Rather, he used an alternative way to let me know that he understood.

Once again, upon calling a police station, I played the truth-clarifying audio after making connection. When it was almost done, I offered to help the listener withdraw from the CCP. At the beginning he responded with, “Do you know who am I?” I told him, “You are the policeman on duty.” He whispered right away, “Everything is recorded here.” Then he raised his voice with anger, “Don’t tell me such things any more.” Then he hung up. Apparently he was afraid the recording might bring him trouble later. 

There were many situations like these. You can image how difficult it is for the general public in China to get to hear the truth. Thus, I treasured all the truth-clarification materials we had and utilized them to spread the truth to the maximum number of people. The truth saves lives. 

On Christmas Day I finished sending righteous thoughts with fellow practitioners and picked up a list of five phone numbers at a hospital in Sichuan Province. After the first call connected, I greeted the receiver and started to clarify the truth about Falun Gong. I offered to assist him in withdrawing from the CCP. When I asked him to submit an auspicious name as a pseudonym, he seemed very happy to do so and withdrew from the CCP right then. I told him to repeat and remember the important words “Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!” I knew this encounter was encouragement from Master that I should continue to go forward and save more people. This is the best gift I ever received on Christmas Day! 

As a disciple of Master Li Hongzhi, I know that I have a lot to thank Master for! I am grateful for Master’s compassion and salvation. Besides practicing diligently, I will do my best to spread the truth and save more sentient beings. Thank you, Master! Thank you, fellow practitioners!
