Truly Reach the Standard of the Fa

(Minghui.org) What should our cultivation state be like when we reach the standard of the Fa? My understanding is that every one of our thoughts should conform to the Fa—that is, there is no “self” and there is no “I.”

I don’t think I am there yet. For example, I still send forth righteous thoughts towards the “Zero-Out Campaign.” I do that out of selfishness—to protect myself. I have not completely let go of myself and put others first. In many ways, I have not gotten out of the circle around “me.” This distresses me and makes me feel dejected.

I realized one day, “Why is it that I always think of myself first? I send righteous thoughts to protect my home and practitioners and so that we won’t be persecuted.” This is correct at a certain level. But the Fa requires practitioners to put others first at all times.

Master said,

“From the start, I have been teaching in a way that’s responsible both to those who want to learn our practice and society. It has gone quite well, and the practice has had a widely positive impact.” (The First Talk, Zhuan Falun)

I should follow Master’s lead and be responsible to the community. We should protect the people in our communities and the police so that the negative elements won’t manipulate them to do bad things. We should send righteous thoughts to eliminate the lies and poison that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has instilled in them. We need to awaken them so that they will do good, stop persecuting practitioners, and remember “Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” We need to clean out the bad elements in other dimensions that control them.

I asked Master for help: “Please strengthen and extend my supernatural powers to protect all the communities and the police stations, eliminate all the negative elements that use them to persecute practitioners, and end the ‘Zero-Out Campaign.’ Practitioners are under Master’s care. We are not under the control of the bad elements, so remove all our names from the persecution list.”

In an instant I felt my body merge with the cosmos. I felt light and wonderful, as though I no longer had a physical body or an ego. Perhaps at that moment I reached the standard of a certain level of the Fa.

The amazing thing was when I turned a page in Zhuan Falun, I saw the phrase “It has gone quite well.” (The First Talk, Zhuan Falun)

A being that has no “self,” that places others first is in the highest place. Master has guided us for more than 20 years. Being able to free ourselves from selfishness in a harsh environment and cultivate into lives that put others first is what Master expects of us. It is the Fa’s standard.
