(Minghui.org) On May 13, 2021, World Falun Dafa Day, practitioners from Munich celebrated at the Starnberger See. Hansjörg Müller, a member of the Bavarian German Bundestag, gave a speech at the event. The Falun Dafa waist drum team also performed during the activities.

Many tourists watched the practitioners’ performances, including the exercise demonstration. Several tourists talked with the practitioners, learned the exercises, and signed the petition to condemn the persecution of Falun Gong in China.

Hansjörg Müller and his wife drove some 200 miles to participate in the World Falun Dafa Day event.

The lawmaker said that as a Christian, he was impressed by the teachings of Falun Dafa, especially the principles Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. He believes that these principles are of universal value, and that the whole world should abide by them. He said that the German people need these principles, especially when facing the pandemic.
His wife, who is from Russia, understands the evilness of the communist party. She said that the Russians were lucky to have the great change [away from communism], and she wished the Chinese the same opportunity.
The couple was interested in the performances. They took videos, and took some Falun Dafa informational materials to show to their friends.

A local woman stood in front of the practitioners who were demonstrating the exercises. She sensed the positive energy, which, she said she believed brings people closer together. She signed the petition, calling for an end to the persecution, and asked for the contact information of the local exercise site.

Kocht and Tork, two college students, had never heard of Falun Dafa. They were shocked when told about the brutality of the persecution. They took informational materials for their friends, and signed the petition condemning the persecution. The young men believed that there will be justice, which will change the world.
