(Minghui.org) Governor Tom Wolf of Pennsylvania commemorated May 13, 2021, as World Falun Dafa Day, and sent a greeting letter to the Greater Philadelphia Falun Dafa Association.
Letter from Governor Tom Wolf of Pennsylvania
The letter reads, “The commonwealth is comprised of rich, vibrant, and diverse communities that provide its citizens with a wealth of knowledge and culture about the world. The Asian American community is an integral part of Pennsylvania, and it has contributed greatly to our diversity by sharing its history, heritage, and time-honored traditions.
“Falun Dafa, a self-improvement Qigong practice rooted in ancient Chinese culture, consists of five exercises and strong moral and ethical principles. As we celebrate this festive occasion, we should reflect on the teachings of truthfulness, compassion, and tolerance.
“I commend the Greater Philadelphia Falun Dafa Association for its efforts, and it is my hope that this association will continue to strengthen the Philadelphia community and contribute to the commonwealth for many years to come.
“As Governor, and on behalf of all the citizens of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, I am delighted to recognize World Falun Dafa Day. Please accept my best wishes for a joyous celebration.”
