(Minghui.org) May 13, 2021, was the 22nd World Falun Dafa Day and the 29th anniversary of Falun Dafa’s public introduction. Mayor David M. Apatang of Saipan, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, presented a plaque of recognition to commemorate World Falun Dafa Day in 2021.

The Saipan city government held a ceremony and presented the plaque of recognition. Falun Gong practitioners thanked the mayor and presented him with the book Minghui Report: The 20-Year Persecution of Falun Gong in China. Mayor Apatang accepted the gift and said he would read it.
The plaque reads, “This plaque of recognition of the twenty-second year commemoration is given to Falun Dafa as it celebrates the World Falun Dafa Day on May 13, 2021.
“In joining the rest of the world and most especially the United States of America, we wish Falun Dafa well in promoting its mission.”
Background: What Is Falun Dafa?
Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong) was first introduced to the public by Mr. Li Hongzhi in Changchun, China in 1992.
