1. [Kaifeng City, Henan Province] Three Practitioners Tried

Gao Jing (gender unknown), Ms. Wang Ying, and Guo Xiaoliu (gender unknown) were arrested and taken to the Tongxu County Detention Center in late May 2020 by officers from the Shifan District Police Department. They were later transferred to the Kaifeng City Detention Center.

After enduring nearly a year of physical and mental abuse in the detention center, the three practitioners were in critical condition. In April 2021, the Shunhe Hui Nationality District Court tried and sentenced them. All three practitioners subsequently returned home after spending about one year in custody.

2. [Shanghai] Ms. Yan Xiaoge Arrested

Ms. Yan Xiaoge from Li County, Baoding City, Hebei Province, accompanied her husband to Shanghai for medical treatment. They temporarily rented a place in Gu Village, Baoshan District. She may have been reported to the police for talking to people about Falun Gong. She was arrested at the couple's rented place by police on the afternoon of June 9, 2021. Further details are pending.

3. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Cui Taken to Brainwashing Center

Practitioner Cui from the Malan Area was arrested at home on June 2, 2021, by officers from the Malan Police Station and the Domestic Security Division. Cui is being held in a brainwashing center.

4. [Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Several Practitioners Arrested

On June 11, 2021, there were a number of arrests and home ransacking incidents in Lingyuan City.

Ms. Liu Ruifen was arrested around 6 a.m. on June 11.

Ms. Wu Yanling and her husband Mr. Wang Zhongxue were arrested and their home was ransacked around 7 a.m. on the same day.

Ms. Zhou Yajuan was arrested around 9 a.m.

Zhang Kunshan (gender unknown) was arrested. The police ransacked Zhang’s home.

Ms. Yu Shufen, Li Xiuchun (gender unknown), Li Jing (gender unknown), and another elderly female were also arrested.

Ms. Cao Yueping and her husband Mr. Liu Jingrui from Lingyuan City were arrested at their relative’s home in Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, around 4 p.m. on June 11, 2021.

5. [Beijing] Chen Zhihua and Spouse Arrested

Chen Zhihua and his/her spouse from Yangshugou Village, Xinchengzi Town, Miyun District, were arrested by people from the Miyun District Political and Law Affairs Committee, the 610 Office, the Domestic Security Division, and the Xinchengzi Police Station on June 10, 2021. The police ransacked the couple’s home and confiscated a computer, a printer, and Falun Dafa books. The couple is being held in the Ligezhuang Detention Center.

6. [Beijing] Several Practitioners and Their Family Members Harassed

In the past two days, officers from the Jiuduhe Town Police Station in the Huairou District harassed Falun Gong practitioners in Jiuduhe Village, citing the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) centenary (100 years).

Practitioners known to have been harassed are: Ms. Sun Fuying, Ms. Wang Xiuling, Ms. Zhang Guisuo, Ms. Bai Shuifeng, Ms. Sun Fu’e, Ms. Chen Junling, and Mr. Zhang Aisheng and his wife. The police threatened them and said they should not practice Falun Gong anymore and should not go out.

Among the over 20 people harassed are villagers who had studied Falun Gong and family members of Falun Gong practitioners. The police kept videotaping throughout the entire harassment process.

The deputy director of the Nankou Police Station in Changping District and other officers went to Heishanzhai Village to harass Mr. Zhang Qingshan and his wife Ms. Yang Xiurong on June 9, 2021. They said that the CCP centenary was approaching. They came to meet with the practitioners as required by higher officials and told practitioners not to go out. They also video recorded the conversation.

7. [Beijing] Ms. Yang Shimin and Ms. Zhang Ziyun Arrested

In order to rescue Mr. Yang Shijie, Ms. Yang Shimin and Ms. Zhang Ziyun went to the Discipline Inspection Team of the Shunyi District Police Department and submitted a copy of the “Application for the Release of Yang Shijie Who is Innocent.”

The guards at the gate refused to let them in and asked them to submit the document to the Letters and Complaints Office. As soon as the recipient saw the contents of the document, he called the Domestic Security Division, and the two were arrested by seven or eight officers. Their bags were snatched away.

The two practitioners were held in a small cell in the Renhe Police Station for about 48 hours. In the meantime, police officers ransacked their homes. They confiscated their Falun Gong books and printed materials. Eight “applications” in Ms. Zhang’s bag to be mailed out were confiscated. The officers also took notes that there were eight pages in each application, totaling 64 pages, and filed the notes as evidence.

On the morning of May 21, the two practitioners were taken to the Shunyi District Detention Center for criminal detention. They were released on June 2.

8. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Sun Zhancheng’s Home Ransacked

The home of Sun Zhancheng (gender unknown) was ransacked in May 2021.

9. [Tianjin] Several Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Qu Dengpeng was returning to his home in the Binhai New Area on June 9, 2021. Just as he was about to enter the apartment building, Sun Lihui, a staff member of the Dagang Sub-district Comprehensive Management Office, led four people and stopped him.

Sun took out three statements and said, “Press your fingerprints and we will let you return home.” Mr. Qu refused. The five people forcibly took Mr. Qu to the community patrol car and drove to the Banchang Road Police Station. Mr. Qu was released at 11 p.m. that night.

Ms. Wang Baozhu was arrested on the same day. Her current whereabouts are unknown.

Mr. Wang Runxiang, 75, and his wife Ms. Liu Zhimei, 76, were arrested by Hexi District police on June 11, 2021. Their home was ransacked. The couple is being held in the Hexi Police Department Case Management Center.

In addition, Mr. Wang Zhicheng from the Beichen District was recently arrested. His current situation is unknown.

10. [Binzhou City, Shandong Province] Three Practitioners’ Cases Turned Over to Procuratorate

The Huimin County Police Department filed the cases of practitioners Wang Yuying, Li Jing’e, and Zhao Jun to the Huimin County Procuratorate, on May 28, 2021, to officially place them under arrest.

A year ago, the three practitioners were reported to the police for talking to people about Falun Gong at the Zaohuli Township farmers market.

They were released on bail a few days ago.

11. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Ren Cuirong Harassed

Two officers from the Zijingshan Police Station, Penglai District, went to Ms. Ren Cuirong’s home on June 5, 2021. They photographed her. She stopped them several times. They asked if she was still practiced Falun Gong and also asked about her family's situation.

12. [Linqing City, Shandong Province] Ms. Gao Xiuyin Arrested

Ms. Gao Xiuyin from Nanliu Village, Liugaizi Town, was arrested by officers from the Liugaizi Police Station on June 7, 2021. She is being held in the Linqing City Detention Center.

13. [Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province] Ms. Chen Arrested

On the afternoon of June 11, 2021, Ms. Chen, about 68, and her husband took their grandson to take a train at the Hangzhou High-speed Railway Station to their daughter’s home in Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province, for the holiday. At the check-in point, the security officers found out from her national ID card that she practiced Falun Gong. The officers immediately searched her luggage and found a few sheets with Falun Gong facts. Ms. Chen was arrested. She had not returned home as of the afternoon of June 12.

14. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Li Yuzhen Missing

Ms. Li Yuzhen, 71, from Qianchuan Sub-district, Huangpi District, has been missing since June 5, 2021. Her family searched many places but did not hear anything about her. They believe she was arrested.

15. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Shao Jinlian Harassed Eight Times

From November 2020 to February 2021, people from the Wuchang District Political and Legal Affairs Committee, the Jiyuqiao Sub-district Comprehensive Management Office, and the Shahu Community Management Office went to harass Ms. Shao Jinlian and her family eight times.

The first time, officials from the political and legal affairs committee, together with the director of the sub-district comprehensive management office, and Party secretary Li of the community management office, went to Ms. Shao’s home to harass her. They told her to stop practicing Falun Gong and pressured her to sign a guarantee statement. They threatened that if she did not sign, she would bear the consequences. Ms. Shao did not sign.

On February 23, 2021, five people from the Political and Legal Affairs Committee, the comprehensive management office, and the community office went to Ms. Shao’s home. They said, “As long as you sign this form, we will no longer come to your home.” Ms. Shao did not cooperate with them.

A few days later, the Political and Legal Affairs Committee, the comprehensive management office, and the community personnel came to harass her again.

They also called many times to harass Ms. Shao’s daughter and son. They threatened, “If you don’t cooperate and get your mother to sign paperwork, your work will be affected.”

One day in mid-January 2021, they went to Ms. Shao’s home and threatened her, “If you don’t sign, your son’s career and grandson’s education will be affected.”

On February 8, they went to Ms. Shao’s home again. A female staff member of the Political and Legal Affairs Committee and a male staff member of the comprehensive management pushed and pulled Ms. Shao. The woman said, “You are not allowed to tell anyone that we have been to your home. You are not allowed to file a complaint, and you are not allowed to post this on the Internet.”

16. [Xupu County, Hunan Province] Three Elderly Practitioners Harassed

Six officers from the Xupu County Police Department went to the home of 81-year-old Ms. Zhang Huacui on May 9, 2021. Without showing any IDs, they walked in and asked if she still practiced Falun Gong, and pressured her to sign the three statements. Ms. Zhang refused to sign. An officer said, “You can’t see the document clearly. We will sign it for you, and we won’t look for you anymore.” They signed for her, took pictures of her, and promptly left.

On June 3, the officers went to the home of Ms. Zhang’s parents to learn about her situation and asked her relatives what she did while she lived at her parents’ home.

On May 11, two officials of the Xupu County Agriculture Bureau went to the home of 85-year-old Zeng Ren’ai and 80-year-old Liao Difan. As soon as they walked in, they asked whether the elderly couple still practiced Falun Gong. They also photographed them.

17. [Xianning County, Guizhou Province] Several Practitioners Harassed

Mr. Han Jiangui, in his 70s, had been harassed by the police for many years. After his son was threatened, his son cooperated with the police to monitor him and interfere with his practice. Under the pressure of the police and his son, Mr. Han passed away in mid-May 2021. His son also passed away on the same day.

On the evening of May 28, 2021, three officers from the Liuqiao Police Station went to the home of Ms. Shao Manqiu, who is in her 60s, and forced her to press her fingerprints.

On the morning of May 31, 2021, seven or eight people from the police station and community management office broke into the home of Ms. Xu Yanfei, who is in her 60s. They entered through the window. They confiscated Falun Dafa books, weekly publications, and other personal belongings. They interrogated her and pressured her to sign paperwork, but she refused.

Three officers from the police station went to the home of Ms. Luo Yufen, who is in her 50s, on the afternoon of June 4, 2021. She did not comply with their unreasonable demands and resisted with righteous thoughts.

The officers broke into the home of 80-year-old Mr. Dai Yongmao twice in early May and then on May 31, 2021. They confiscated about seven or eight Falun Dafa books.

During the same period, they also pressured Ms. Xie Faying to sign the three statements on the phone or in person many times. To avoid further harassment, Ms. Xie left her home.

18. [Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Six Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Yan Hongyuan, his wife Ms. Xu Xiuying, Ms. Sun Guiling, Tang Le (gender unknown), and another practitioner with the last name Zhou were arrested by officers from the Beitai Police Department and the Xiangyang Police Department on June 11, 2021. Their homes were ransacked. Mr. Yan and his wife Ms. Xu were released.

Practitioner Ding was arrested by officers from the Qianjin Police Department on May 6, 2021. Ding’s home was ransacked. Further details are pending.

19. [Gaizhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Jihua Arrested

Ms. Li Jihua from Taiyangsheng Sub-district went to Kezhai Village on the afternoon of June 11, 2021. She was arrested by officers from the Taiyangsheng Police Station. Subsequently, the officers took her to the hospital for nucleic acid testing and physical examination. Her health indicators were far from meeting the requirements.

20. [Chongqing] Ms. Jiang Xinmei Arrested

Ms. Jiang Xinmei lives in Chuanmeijiuchu Residential Community, Yubei District. On June 8, 2021, when she was about to walk out of the gate of the community, a man suddenly showed up and asked, “Are you Jiang Xinmei?” At this time, a woman came up and grabbed her arm. Five or six men rushed over. They snatched her bag.

They opened the bag and found paper bills with Falun Gong facts printed on them. These people swarmed around her and counted the bills on the ground. They videotaped the scene and pushed her into a police car. Ms. Jiang was taken to the Lianglu Police Station, Yubei District. They kept her in the interrogation room and counted the cash in her bag again. A total of 7,100 yuan in cash was confiscated.

During the interrogation, the officers collected her fingerprints, recorded her voice, and beat her. After the interrogation, she was forced to go to the hospital for a variety of examinations. The doctor felt strange after seeing the extensive list of examinations and asked, “Why do you have to undergo so many examinations?”

Ms. Jiang was found to have low pressure of 180 and high pressure of 220. Another doctor was called in to test her blood pressure again. The readings were still very high. Regardless of the physical examination results, the police insisted on taking her to the detention center. Seeing her high blood pressure, the detention center officials did not dare to accept her. She was then taken home. The officers ransacked her home again, and took her cell phone.

21. [Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhang Shumin Arrested

Three officers from the Yangming Police Station went to Ms. Zhang Shumin’s fried doughnut stall in Guanghua Street and arrested her on June 10, 2021. The officers ransacked her home. She was taken to the police station, where she was pressured to sign a guarantee statement renouncing Falun Gong, but she refused.

At 5 p.m., she was taken to the Mudanjiang Detention Center in Hualin Town for 15 days of detention.

22. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Li Kun’s home in Hengdaluzhou Residential Community was surrounded by officers from the Daqing City Police Department on the morning of June 10, 2021. Recent developments are not clear.

The doors of Ms. Xu Shufen and Ms. Liu Shujuan’s homes were widely opened for quite some time. There was a plainclothes officer in Ms. Xu’s home, and an elderly practitioner was lying on the couch. That night, no one was at the homes of Ms. Xu and Ms. Liu.

It was reported that Ms. Xu was arrested. Ms. Li and Ms. Liu were probably also arrested.

23. [Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] Several Practitioners Harassed

On June 10, 2021, officials from various branches of the Mudanjiang City Police Department and the household registration officers from various subordinate police stations, conducted a coordinated campaign to harass Falun Gong practitioners, ransack their homes, or arrest them across the city at the same time.

The police made up an excuse that they had received reports and had to take action, so as to cover up the coordinated arrests based on a list they compiled.

On June 10, 2021, Mr. Li Haifeng, who lives near Dongsitiao Road, Dong’an District, was taken to the police station by the household registration officer. He has now returned home.

On June 10, Jing Yusheng (gender unknown) from Yangming District was harassed by the police twice, first in the morning and then in the evening.

On the same day, Ms. Zhuang Xiuyun in Yangming District was harassed at home by three officers. They videotaped her and pressured her to sign paperwork, but she refused. The officers also asked Ms. Zhuang’s non-practitioner husband if he practiced Falun Gong.

Gao Lanting (gender unknown) was arrested at Gao's rented home in the Railway Dormitory on June 10. The police ransacked the place and confiscated all Gao's Falun Gong books. Further details are not clear.

Ms. Chen Xitao and her husband Mr. Guo Libin from Hailin City were placed in criminal detention. Ms. Fu Zhaocui was denied admission by the detention center for health reasons. She was released on bail.
